It keeps mentioning a "gamepad" that oddly looks like a PS3 controller. Can I use my PS3 controller as a peripheral?

I've used an Xbox 360 controller for Windows: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/gaming/productdetails.aspx?pid=091 and FFXIV detects it no problem. You can even configure the buttons. If you're wondering, I've only use the keyboard for talking. I do everything through the controller - it's awesome.

hmmm gona have to look into this, im becoming increasingly unsatisfied with the inability to remap your camera keys (the arrows are right by the num pad, why couldnt they let me control my camera/head movement with those like in xi!) a ps3's wiggle sticks might be the perfect remedy.

I play with a PS3 controller, since my PS2 controller kicked the bucket :-P Dealing with motionjoy is a pain, but it gets the job done.
