Weather Effects, how to disable?Follow

I've searched as hard as I could and I cannot find an answer to this. My PC can run FFXIV just fine until weather effects show up then my FPS drop 15-20+ frames. I've read time and time again that Dust Effects will remove rain and dust storms, but they don't.

Is anyone else having the same problems removing weather effects, or maybe has a solution to this? Thanks ahead of time.

I tried a few times to disable weather in the beta, but couldn't find the switch. Where is it exactly?

"Dust effects" in the configuration menu toggles footstep effects, like dust clouds and puddle splashes, as players move about. I don't believe it is possible to turn off weather effects like dust/windstorms and rain.

I've searched this and literally asked everyone I came across in FFxiv world and none seems to give me the answer. So, no, you can't turn off the weather effects. If it drops your FPS that bad then you'll just have to get a better graphic card or play at a lower resolution. :(
