Was running around in Limsa Skull valley area, and noticed two bots located west of the aleport.. They just kept attacking any rats spawn in the area, without moving a bit, except their heads. Both are lv17 conjurers with lv1 gears..

You reported them right..? Even if you can't be sure they're RMT, GMs will investigate and keep an eye on them for suspicious activities..

Really not surprised.

My guess is RMT with those names or possible mules because the drops of crystals alone can be worth what 100k if full? depending if just 1 type? I have yet to reach a full 999 do they then restack to another 999?

interesting, only has CON leveled. Definately suspicious. need to report. Is there a web-based reporting feedback feature?

Everybody needs to report these when they are found. Be as disruptive as possible to RMT.

Hard to sift RMT from real players with regard to mules... but who really wants to play with someone who can't think of a decent mule name, right?

last option is to report to Special Task Force :)

lets hit them hard and early before they get a major foothold :)

i did try to report through the link

http://support.na.square-enix.com/contacttop.php?id=902&la=1

however if you go there you will find all worlds listed are for FFXI. LOL. I really doubt SE will take the matter seriously.

Would be nice if there was an in game report or you could alt-tab, but as it stands, a vast majority of people aren't going to go through the hassle.

there should be no worlds listed just a list of support options. the last one being STF.
if you select RMT ingame action then next its just a form to fill out. if you are seeing FFXI stuff make sure the top menu says View pages of related service: Final Fantasy XIV

I would be hard pressed to name my mule something like Asd or DFG. If anything that will put up a red flag on your account since that is what the RMT guys do. One would think after so many years they would at least "try" to be a little more, um, orginal.

They don't start restacking. I had two full stacks of 999 and I couldn't get anymore.

Maybe I have been out of the loop, but are dual, tri, quad boxers considered boters in final fantasy land?

I saw them also. Same two on Palamecia. The have auto target running all the time. I sat there and watched them for 20 minutes, and their heads were like swivels. Only 2 rats spawn there, so the auto target macro is a dead give away.

let me find my SC of it.....

Maybe you are out of the loop. Most people that dual box don't name themselves jhkgfi jjygufr. Also, the 2 in my pic were targeting nonstop. That's botting, not dual boxing.

Ah that makes good sense. I saw some of those meaningless names today also and thought they were polish names and then figured out that it was jibberish. Makes me start to wonder if they have one of those old functions like on a NES controller that made it rapid fire the buttons to spam something or a target. It will be interesting to see how gil buying is handled early on in this game. If they start deleting buyer accounts right away, the fear factor will be put on the user :P.
