Like Final Fantasy XI, the game specs will be extremely high for the time, but in about 5 years, an average machine can run it on max settings with little to no issues. Tanaka also expressed interest in making a benchmark program available.

Does this mean I can actually find what I'm looking for without having to spend 2 hours going through everyone's bazaar?

I haven't found a post about it yet on their forums, but since Scragg is behind it, I'm sure he found a way to get around and mine the packets ^^;

I posted this on my server forums last night as I found it very helpful for the few items I had been searching for. I did not find everything, but it's a start.

I suggest everyone posting this on their server forum if it's helped you to try and get it more wide spread.

I guess its basically just a forum to post when you have an item for sale in hopes it sells easier. Doesn't look like it can work like the FFXI AH where it actually reads from in the game. Still a central place to post items for sale might be handy, at least for some higher end items. For cheaper things, if you find what you are looking for, there is a good chance it would have been sold already, and the player didn't log into the site to take the item back down.

http://ffxiv.yg.com/bazaar is a good place also. yg.com has an option for players to add their retainer info as well... will the ffxiAH guys add that?

I personally prefer this site, as it comes with database full of recipes, mob drops and spawns. Absolutely wonderful site, albeit, I'm using sparingly, as I'm a bit of a "Find it out myself" player

Since both sites require the people selling items to log in and post every item they wish to bazaar (as well as log in and remove every item that was sold), I see them as limited in use. Hopefully, only one becomes mainstream, as with multiple sites that means we will need to check multiple sites to find what we're looking for instead of one central place.

Despite looking like FFXIAH, this is far from it, just because the game does not read items directly from the game.
