Ok, I was able to do this in FF11 and see people doing it in XIV..

How do type auto-translated words in XIV? example: <Do you have it?> would be seen in your language

If you type the beginning of the phrase you want to put into the auto-translate and hit tab, it will bring up only the phrases that begin with that.
