1. Can you play every class (eventually, and assuming you wanted to) with one toon?
- I have seen forum sigs with only 6 classes listed. I am not sure if this is the limit of characters or just the limit of that particular sig.

2. When you change a weapon or tool and become the new class, are you still able to wear your previous classes armour (I understand that this may affect the effectiveness of the new class - ie thaumaturge to gladiator)?

Thank You for your time!

1. yes, in fact it appears that its pretty mandatory in the sense that if you take one class straight to max level without messing with any others that class will be fairly weak and undimensional comparatively.

2. yes, tho its effects may be reduced or limited in some ways

3. we call them characters here, not toons =P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpmy7Ze18NY&NR=1

This one time at FFXIV camp I tried to get a 3 person party going, but just ended up as a Disciple of the Hand.

1. Yes if you have a lot of time on your hands, by a lot I means a lot, like a lot. Seriously, just focusing on one class is already very time consuming.

2. It affect the attributes. For example if you're switching from a Thaumaturge to a Gladiator and still wearing clothes that favour THM and not GLA, expect to see abysmal DEF drop. There are however, many clothes that favour ALL classes.

I'm not sure on this but I think that there is or atleast will be some class specific gear. Kind of like how some items have a mandatory level requirement for them to be worn.
