How in the world are level 20+, I am only a 14 thamaturge, I for the life of me cant find mobs worth grinding on. I run around for 10 minutes and find 10 mobs...
I know people probably dont want to share, but any links to places where I can just sit and grind mobs that repop? Once upon a time I stumbled across a cave with like 6 of he thistletail's in it but for the life of me I cant find that cave again.

I am in uldah if that matters.

They play more than you do and are willing to grind out painfully slow SP for longer stretches than you. Or they've found a camp and won't tell anyone about it so it doesn't get crowded.

I'm about halfway to 20 with my physical and only 13 on my Conjurer. The thing is, I've got several other jobs up there too. All I can say is run around off the beaten trail. Look for caves. Sometimes there is a cave with several enemies that spawn pretty fast and with moles for example, you can beat on those without worry too much since their burrowing attack is easy to evade. Just keep using Cure/Sacrifice when needed.

Its really not hard at all. I hit the levels in my signature from playing Sept 22nd-25th while I was off from work. I've worked pretty much all the time since then and haven't had time to play.

My guess would be that they're partying and killing mobs that nobody else fights yet. If you did exp grind vs. aldgoats or giant crabs or any number of other untouched mobs, you'd have little to no competition and be able to kill constantly. And if you played like an unemployed maniac, you could easily outstrip everyone else.

I found some good mobs north of Camp Drybone that give like 200-300 SP a kill.

Well since I'm not really playing anymore I might as well divulge all my camps. At 14+ in Gridania there are fairie funguars up near camp tranquil. Exp on those until the Canopy Galagos become yellow/green to you. Galagos should last until about 18 or so.

After that I went over to Ul'dah, there's a great camp for yellow/green mobs from about 18-24 on the flies and yarzons (though at 18 some mobs will be orange or even red) right outside the Copperbell mines. These also drop wind and lightning shards which are nice too. Be careful if you're camping here because once in a while Padfoots (enemy hyurs) will spawn and they're stronger than the average mob in the area. They're not invincible, but they can be a pain in the ***.

Without the surplus garbage I would probably be in the 40's by now - just hit 32, but it's not really a huge deal. Getting to 'end game' faster just means less fun you can have on the way - since there really is no end game right now, it's a cycle of leveling jobs, lol.

if you only focus on one job its easy. even if you focus on multiple ones it isn't that difficult. I'm 2000exp to rank 24 mrd and it was just a lot of boring grinding.

I guess your highest level is 50, not 32. Since you know that there is no end game.

I'm Rank26 Gladiator, would be higher, but didn't play yesterday. It's easy to level.

Grouping has helped me a lot. I group with a good friend of mine and we pound out at least 6000 class rank points per hour, often over 7000.

It's all about finding good synergies between classes and players and running with it. Check out this blog post that begins to explain how you want to find someone to work together with while leveling.
