Is this an exploit? (DoW Skill Gain)Follow

I took the first tutorial leve, and proceeded to kill the first 2 targets. 1 remained. While that one remained for 5-6 minutes I went around and killed star marmots and funguars and found I was still getting the benefits of guardian's aspect skill gain.

So in theory I could go around and kill monsters while not killing leve targets and skill faster.

Turned out I hit level 4 pugilist while being start of physical rank 3.

Trying to report to a GM but it's not letting me call >.>

What do you all think about this?

Like Final Fantasy XI, the game specs will be extremely high for the time, but in about 5 years, an average machine can run it on max settings with little to no issues. Tanaka also expressed interest in making a benchmark program available.

You can choose to get your Guardian's Aspect (or at least you could) even when not on guildleves.

I haven't been able to figure out how, but 30 minutes of gain is quite nice. Seems like it was built in there for DoW and DoM, just "big brother" didn't want us leveling fast ^^;

Anyone know why GM Call isn't working? I'm not getting banned because they can't program >.>

they have actually said that guardian's aspect only affects leve targets. skill ups come fast at low levels.

Either you can't read or are mentally incapable of understanding the fact I was also trying to call a GM to report it. Hacking is physically altering the memory of the game which I wasn't doing

So I know that we can skill faster with guardian's aspect. Do you think it's within the realm of SE's thinking that we are allowed to kill other things before finishing the guildleve order to maximize skill gain, or is that an exploit of the system? I still can't make a dam GM call to save my life... >.>

Also, if you kill a few random mobs before each levequest target, when you kill the levequest target you can get 200-400+ skill points / kill.

This is how it was intended to work, and also how DoM's were cure spamming for rank 30 in 1 day while killing maybe 100 mobs at most. You grab the buff, you kill everything you see on the way to the leve target, then you kill the leve target.

guardian's aspect does not impact skill gains on non-leve targets. If you are experiencing an increase in skill gain, it is from your own perception.

That's really wrong

What happened was that you would grab the buff, attack a monster, but don't kill it. Then everyone sits around in a circle while one mob is attack them, and 15 heals are going off until the leve expires.

No killing necessary.

Yes, I was stating the INTENDED use, not the exploit. The DoM's were using the exploit.

Keep in mind that even attempting to use the exploit anymore will invite the wrath of the bansaw upon your head.

Well I went from level 1-5(2 kills from 6) in one levequest during the 30 minute timeframe, I have't tried leveling outside of that leve from 1-5 but it feels alot faster.

I feel scared to do anything that works faster in this game for fear of the SE banhammer.

First, that's 1-5. takes about 10 minutes grinding anything anywhere. I can guarantee you that you were not experiencing guardian aspect on the non-leve mobs though.

It's working as intended. In beta with fishing leves you used to get like 300xp for each non leve fish on the fish spot quests even if you fished it out and kept fishing before going to the next spot, in live this is no longer so. I'm sure it's the same with combat classes. I got conjurer to 4 last night and I didn't notice killing a star marmot with the favor active giving me more xp then killing it without before I got even to my leve camp.

At lower levels xp just comes faster then it seems to come to a almost complete stop or you get like 20xp, which is a sign that you need to target higher mobs. The same with fishing, kinda, you gotta keep moving as you rank up.
