Hi all,
Thanks in advance for any replies to help this confused brunette out!! I have seen people talking about how high Physical level limiting the conning of mobs when you level a class. What i am afraid of is starting disciple of land classes and leveling them say to lvl 10 each and finding my physical lvl at 10 too.
Than trying to level say a conjurer and finding that though my class is lvl 1 my physical lvl been 10, that green conned mobs are whooping my ****. Is this how it works? or am i mistaken? Because my fear is i might have to level my crafting on seperate toon from my disciple of magic if i go ahead? is that right?
Can someone break it down for me please.

Class level affects Stat caps and skills. And in crafting skills access to recipes.
Phys level affects your relative strength/stats/ect.

If you're phys 10 class 1, you'll generally have to drop back to a lower tier enemy from what you're grinding at say class 10 phys 10, but after a few levels you can go back up.

Nope, no need to worry. Also, phys level makes a HUGE difference in your effective strength. I switched from LNC16/Phys 19 to PGL1, low level enemies couldnt touch me (evadeevadeevadeevade) and I was getting 400 class exp per kill. Very sweet.

Since physical levels says how mutch HP and MP you have, and also how hard and how good you hit, i would say it doesnt make mutch of a difference. The only thing is that the abilities you get at a new level 1 class are not so good against level 10 mobs

thank you for replies. It makes it clearer to me, that my fears of leveling crafting and gathering classes first is groundless. there was alot of confusion in starting regarding classes and levels for me. One of reasons though i got game i havent made a character in retail yet. While my hubby has a mighty lvl 1 botanist *laughs*
