Put pressure there to stop the bleeding til mom finish questFollow

I was hoping this would be as much fun as other FF games and it could be if they changed some things.

1. My main pain; they turned quest into the dreaded dailies. You get just a few each day and feel you must do as soon as you can or they will be available to you at a later time the next day and you want them to show up as soon as you can. Not 12pm each day because yesterday your child/hubby picked your quest time to want attention. It would not be so bad if each class was given 8 quest but then you would just find your self with more dailies that must be done within a time frame.

2.Time limit; omg that's so bad. 3 Reasons to kick the dog:
a.You die making learning curve mistakes and you run out of time to finish the valuable quest. Thus you waste time reading the web site about EACH quest to make sure you are ready for it. And then once you start the quest the family starts the 'mom' calls.
b.You get kicked off the server and loose the quest.
c.And you best hope the baby does not cry for you will find yourself telling them to hold that Boo Boo tight to stop the bleeding while you finish your quest else you will loose the quest.

3.I can not find enough mobs to grind, One day it was so bad I ran around for 2 hours and killed 7 things getting hardly no experience for they were not in a quest. Grinding can release stress if you can kill several in each area. For with grinding there are no quest to look up and a rest from Googling on how to do things. You can also stop at any point to feed the family needs. I guess they did not want this to be a moms game.

I like to play games to take my mind off stress of the day. This game has added so much stress I find myself running outside to kick the dog to the point the dog refuses to believe me when I call him to eat. He hides thinking 'I will not fall for that one again. Get a new game!!!!'
Well to the dog and families dismay I must use up my first 30 days I spent too much on the collectors addition.

I will then have to go back to a game that:
a. Limits the quest that have time limits.
b. Lets me do all the quest I want to do when I have time to do them as I have different times Each day. At least give us 8 quest per class and craft. But then I can't level my main class and play things I do not care much about thus find myslef going to another game until I can get my quest the next day.
c. Gives me mobs to grind without running around like a chicken with it's head cut off to find EACH one.
d. And does not make crafting such a chore trying to decide how to get the mats to the point I am scare to sell anything in fear I will need it thus I have no money to buy mats or tools or weapons to start a new class and/or craft. I think I went wrong starting Blacksmith first. As I Googled crafts some others look easier to get the mats to do the quest and level them. But my 30 days will be up before I can try them all enough to get the mats.

e. As it is I will not play FFXIV pass my 30 days and play hoping things will get better and I hate to waste all the money I paid for the collectors edition without using the 30 day time limit. I kick myself thinking what I could have done with that money.

LOL just letting out some steam. I did my dailies and do not want to play the mine or gather game. And too tired to web search on this game so I will play another game until tomorrows dailies.
But I was hoping if I let out why this game is so bad they would fix it, lmao. I have read what others say and so yes many things are wrong with the game besides what I said but I was thinking if they gave us more quest so we can level our main class without a time limit I thought it would not be so hard to wait for all they other things they need to fix.

I realize with so many people playing grinding will never be fixed. In FFXI we all knew several places to party for each level as each place only supplied enough for a limit number of parties. It was not so bad for if you did not know a place to go another party member knew. But this game needs quest for the grinding is very bad.

Do not worry the dog is a happy camper and does not really get kicked. The kids do not bleed to death fori keep super glue next to PC and it stitches so fast I do not loose a quest.

Levequests reset every 36 hours. They reset at the same time for everyone on the server and are not tied to when you picked them up or completed them.

In addtion they are there for you to familiarize yourself with the area and mob spawn locations while getting free money and a chance fora nice reward. Pay close attention to where they send you as those are the locations the specific mobs spawn in. And they spawn in droves. I don't think i've ever had to wait for mobs to spawn in the leveq target areas.

I don't think i've ever died doing levequests. Like ever unless i picked on that giant red mob on the way to them... the amount of time you get to kill them is more than enough to get to the spot and kill the two at most that are linked. Can you elaborate on what difficulty you are experiencing that is causing your death doing leves? Are you picking 5 star for instance? Some mobs are ridiculously overpowered, but never enough to prevent leve completion at 1 or 2 stars while single. 4 or 5 stars at current level are insane for single person and even small groups. Some (dodos for instance) sleep/one shot casters all the time and can use some minor tweaks.

See one above. There are usually 5-6 spots around the individual camps that are common mob spawn locations.
Once thing i've noticed is that mobs wont show as you are running trough an area unless you stop and wait for a good 5-10 seconds. Than the game starts loading mobs around you. The mini-map tends to suffer less from that, but it's still noticeable. Especially on heavily utilized areas, use the mini-map and ran trough slowly... It's frustrating at times but i can only hope it gets addressed. It looks like game engine lag with texture loads for npc's but i could be wrong. In either case it can take a few seconds to see if the area is indeed barren or if it has mobs around you.

It really sounds like you don't have the patience for the normal pains of a title launch. Every MMO of the last 30+ years that i've had the pleasure of playing online has had similar issues. They get addressed in some way or another in the first year usually.

Crafting is a blast to be honest. The harvesting mini-games are entertaining and the gathering levequests are an excellent way of locating the spots where resource nodes spawn. BTW you keep all the resources you gather during those leves so that's an additional benefit.

I'm currently doing goldsmithing/alchemy/mining/botany and i'm having a blast. About 40 minutes of harvesting or doing gathering leves gives me enough materials to gain a couple of levels in the specific craft along with the crafting leves.

My only peave is interface lag and overall UI design when it comes to menu progressions. I love the no recipe aspect of crafting. Being limited to only what recipes i can find/purchase is retarded. You don't see any artisans say "sorry i can't make this chair as the local auction house doesn't have plans for them".

On a more serious note:
The urge to injure animals or other living beings is a sign of serious psychological issues. Please seek help if you have trouble controlling those urges.

No mobs huh? Come to my server. I'm a botanist and I have to run around with a waraxe because a bunch of aggros just swarmed around my tree. I have to watch my back even when I'm in the middle of the logging game. I don't care if it's a marmot. It gets an axe in the face if it comes anywhere near me! :K
