A 9600M does not run this game fine ...

You have to Change the buffer to something smaller than resolution ( 1/2, 2/3) but the game will look **** ugly.

I've been playing at buffer 1/2 since launch. It looks horrible, but I love the game enough to play a ton every day. All I can say is: When I get a new pc, and I can max it, what will happen to my life?

Go to the start menu and open up your Final Fantasy XIV config. Go to general. I suggest playing at like 1280x720 with everything set to low. Up to you though. Then go to the graphics tab I believe, and under Buffer: change it from resolution to 1/2.
