I have read some good reviews, and a lot of bad reviews. Though I told myself I would at least get through the 30 day trial. I'm about to start the game ( all installed and done ) I'm just finishing some work then logging on.

What do you think would be the best character to have, why?

and also what world is best/good? :)

Lalafell for the race! No doubt. ;)

Classes doesn't really matter you can try them all out and pick the one you like.

Welcome! Server questions are always hard to answer as most of us are only on one server; we don't have much basis for comparison (I've only seen my server, Trabia).

Don't fret too much about your starting decisions on your character. Of your irrevocable decisions, race, gender, appearance, name, birthdate and guardian are flavor; pick what appeals to you (if there is any in-game effect of birthdate and guardian, nobody knows what it is. Race determines your starting stats, but after that stats are allocated and, within limits, rearranged, as you please, so it means very little). Your starting city determines which quest storyline you get, but at least in the early stages, the tasks/rewards are broadly similar. Your starting class determines your starting equipment, nothing more. Starting equipment for another class can be cheaply had from NPC vendors, and you can change classes freely (in fact, an effective character will need to develop several classes). Enjoy, and don't fret too much; the game does not make you permanently choose a path. You're always free to try something else, and, if you decide, go back to your previous development to pick up where you left off. While the game is not entirely without its problems, I have enjoyed playing it so far and I hope you will too.
