Leveling to 30Follow

Yesterday I met two japanese players at rank 32 and 33 near Camp Broken Water. I asked them how they leveled so fast, and they replied with, "2~6PT".

Where are good places and good mobs to fight in 2-6 man parties around 15, 20, 25 and 30?
Maybe this game can be played like FFXI (in 6 man parties against hard mobs).

Basically I want some help on where and how to level.

There are tons of high level mobs to fight. If more people spread out, people would know this. I think most people are stuck thinking you have to level in certain area's.

If you goto Gridania and head West to Camp Emerald Moss. More west from there is the entrance to Coerthas. This is one path that is used to reach Ishgar.
You will enter this path here which heads up to Camp Glory.

There are antelope doe and arbor squirrel here that we were able to grind on with a 4-5 man party of 13-15.
great SP and XP. Decent length battles... I would suggest touching Camp Glory and grinding on the mobs near it as the the skills/special attack moves do HUGE dmg to your tank/party. People will die repeatedly but just keep grinding its fun and worth it.

I found solo skill ups degraded after rank 20. Parties really are the way to go. They are a lot of fun. The only downsides are the shared drops/crystals, as well as the current SP glitch where in parties of 3+ people, some members won't receive their accumulated battle SP at the end of the fight. Hopefully that gets fixed soon.

What he said. Once you're one of them. You will level up fast.

LOLS to the JP comments.

And yes... playing in parties does suck in the game's current state as the glitch prevents members from not receiving their accumulated SP when there are more than 2 members.

Ridere, no one believed me when I warned of the post 20 skills while solo in my Epic Fail thread, complete with video.

uh i think new players dont have the concept of PARTY yet. IF you played FXI.
Find camp and get apuller, Tank, DD Nuke mage heale mage and a coupl of stunners ( crafters) And go party! LIKE OLD SCHOOL!
to many people in this version think levels and synthing is end all be all. Get old school And go nuts!

I love how you say that kind of thing without even trying it. Go give it a try, see how it works out for ya.

Hard to get "old" school when the SP glitch exists. You're basically stuck trio'n mobs and only two of you can do DMG, unless your cool with 1 Mele not getting skill.

Also to OP what jobs were they? Mage? I bet they used the SP glitch in Leves to get that high.

I hit Fatigue at R16 first week and R21 the second. It seems like this level of grinding should reduce you down to 100% fatigue several levels lower than 32/33. That is an enormous amount of SP. The Fatigue system must be really really broke in practice, apparently it punishes slow levelers and rewards fast grinders. Seems like it must be all time based and doesn't give a **** how much (or little) SP you make, it purely how many hours you spend doing it. Nice one SE, nice one...
