I saw the front page talking about macro changes with equipment. And it sparked my memory to ask the boards. Has anyone figured out how to do /cast based macros (i.e. Healing / Tanking)

I've tested...

Healing
-----------------
/ac main "Cure" <p2>

To no avail... but doing <p2> during a party works.

Tanking
-----------------
/targetnpc
/wait 2
/ac main "Provoke" <t> but nothing...

Anyone have any ideas to remedy this?

take out main and take out <p2>

the <p#> macros dont work for targeting in macros.

Cure would be

/ac "Cure" <t> or <me>

an easy one is

/aoe on
/ac "Cure" <me>
/aoe off

currently the only ways to target other party members are by manually clicking on them or using the DPad on a controller.

you can also macro this
/aoe on
/ac Cure <st>
/aoe off

<st> means sub target, allows you to choose who to plant the cure on. Hope this helps

Currently, the only targeting options for macros are <t>, <me> and <st>

You cannot specify any other targeting data in macros. Check the lodestone macro listings for more specifics. In addition there is now a macro guide on ZAM and a very detailed macro guide listed in my signature

What is your in signature link is exactly what I was looking for.

And for everyone else thanks... so basically "party" member specific casting isn't implemented "yet".
