Chocobo stable will ruin gameFollow

Hello.

My reason for this discussion is to clear peoples minds about not having a chocobo stable and to support developers in never creating one for FFXIV. it will simply ruin the game. there are other solutions to peoples headaches on not being able to find birds for riding.

We see thousands of unused trails on FFXI's world map. My experience with FFXIV over the last month has made me a better player without it.
It has made the game more interactive and real to me. I have seen a beautiful variety of players all expressing more frustration than could ever be created with FFXI or any other popular MMORPG.

The biggest complaint i see on forums is there is no way to move between areas easily or conserve anima between guildleves.
This can be solved by just autorunning behind other people and going afk.

I firmly believe a chocobo stable will ruin this game. I love searching for paths in the environment. its given the game more variety and individuality. Chocobo stables will only make the game.. the same as FFXI. This is the future and chocobo stable will only set you back.

Also i think a chocobo stable takes control away from the developers. These people dont know anything about animal husbandry.

Example.. you let them breed chocobos on FFXI..

Then they ******* and complained about it...

But they did it to themselves!!

By selling chocobo eggs at NPC's..

the developers keep control.!!

If you dont like it. then go play Chocobo's Dungeon or FFXI for the rest of your life.
I like the game being more life like and putting everyone on the same level.
I like that no chocobo stable makes people work harder.
I made a really good friend because i told them how to get to Coerthas.

And that's when it all clicked for me. and i seen how much better this game is
without it

Carl Sagan > FFXI

Almalexia > FFXIV > the new masterpiece.

Seriously this is stupid. You still travel along trails even if you use a Chocobo for travel. While you're at it you might as well say Hermes Shoes is already ruining the game.

<Insert time-saving game mechanic here> will ruin game.

If you want to enjoy playing a game, go play WoW or something.

Of course I don't take this serious, but it does bring to mind a good analogy.
What do you think would have happened if the powers that be told our forefathers they
couldn't use horses and covered wagons on the way west..../grin.

I think it would be nice if they added a 1 point anima bonus for completing leve quests. It would help with conserving anima until the chocobo stables are built.

Because humans never rode some kind of creature in order to transport themselves faster to any destination on the planet.

You all life like fail.

Maybe they should remove the run feature in the game. In real life, you don't see people running to one point or another, they WALK. Get some perspective and get outside a little.

I fully agree. You can choose not to ride the chocobo. Others may need it.

Exactly. Just like the Auction House, I never heard anyone in FFXI bewail the convenience of chocobos. It was only with FFXIV not implementing things that I heard people posit their convoluted, clunky "solutions" to a system that worked very well already.

Dont throw away that inflatable boat. You gonna need it to get oil from the bottom of the ocean. And yeah, gonna need some divers gear too. Hopefully some craftsman can make that.

...nah better get an alchemist that can make fuel out of chocobo droppings.

So in short, we need chocobo stables so you can have your helicopter. No stable no poo.

lol, ok. Basically I don't care what they give as long as its something. **** a tree you hold onto being flung from a slingshot to the destination would work, lol. Oh and would look sweet, at least in my mind it is.

Don't worry, the game was ruined by a lot of other things that were left out already. :)

I have to waste an hour of the limited gametime I get every night just running between all 3 cities so that I can activate the guildleves that I need. It would be much simpler if anima regenerated at least greater than 1 trip per day. I've tried conserving, but limited gametime and needing to purchase things from people's bazaars because there is no AH has made me burn up too much. I'm down to 15 anima left already. A player only accumulates 6 anima in a day. That is enough for 1 trip between cities.

With all the other **** things broken with this game, I am trying to make the best of it, but they don't even let us get to where we need to go in a convenient fashion. Tough to be "casual" when you burn all your time running from one place to another.

Give me my freakin' "Horsebird"!!!!!
