ambivalent/kinda happy here. I can see the room for it to grow, and hopefully Wada kicks Tanaka's *** a few times to push him into pushing the game in the proper direction. I like the white knight chronicles combat system. the FF2 leveling system can use some work. The over-reliance on crafting needs to be toned down.

Almost looks like the poll is giving us the finger.

Was excited, but disappointed now.
I still have hope for the future, and will continue playing until January at least.
Current results aren't surprising at all.

I was very excited about the game, after playing for years FFXI, now I'm very dissapointed and just giving SE my free trial to fix the main issues of the game or I'll cancel it.
How excited I was about the game that I built a new computer, from scratch, to run the game, as my current computers didn't have the specs to run it, now I'm worried I will need to find something to do with the new computer that really uses the full power of it

I was excited, then saw they didn't fix much of the UI lag, and was disappointed. I still stand by that, fix the UI lag, and you have a fully functional game that improves exponentially.

Not to be a **** or anything but I never understood how someone could just go out and buy a brand new computer or spend a lot upgrading their current rig just so they could play a game they didn't even know was good. That said, I'll probably upgrade my PC soon to get rid of this lag I'm having lol... I was excited for the game last spring, played the beta and turned into meh but didn't cancel preorder. After playing for a while now it's grown on me. The crafting is becoming addicting real fast.

There is a lot of work that needs to be done so I'm staying away from DoW/DoM classes as much as possible for the time being. Solo grinding mobs is mind numbing and a party is bugged atm (at least I hope it's a bug :/)

I refuse to waste my time in the market wards until they add some sort of search function so now I have ended up with 7 different crafts all between 6-12 lol

As a college student who can't seem to get employed I don't have much money and I certainly don't have enough to play a game I'm not thoroughly enjoying. I enjoyed the beta but expected it to be a shell of whats to come. It wasn't. I don't have the money to throw at this game and if they're gonna waste my free trial period with an incomplete game and only fix it just before we have to start paying, I'm seeing a cycle might begin and I want no part in it. I think I'm done unless they suddenly surprise me and chances are, they won't.

Voted this. I like the game, but I am not extremely over-the-top looking forward to play it. The storyline and character customization is great (in fact, I love those aspects so far), but the flaws have me less happy and more pessimistic about the direction S-E is taking with the game.

The majority of the lag is server side.

The poll results so far, really are not that shocking, based on the feedback I have seen so far.

character customization is kind of meh... it's limited. I was expecting more, having played a bit of Aion & Second Life(I wouldn't really call it an MMO, but hey) I was disappointed when I saw the character customization options in FFXIV for the first time...really, there should've been a higher degree of customization for characters we're supposed to be using for the rest of the life of the MMO.

ambivilant/not happy... if only they would fix the auction house issue and crafting requiring you to be 10 levels higher in another class to craft your tools. <probably one or the other would be acceptable, but both together is just brutal.>

I'm having quite a bit of frame lag, I'm already on medium/low on most things too. If I'm still interested in the game in a month or 2 it seems like a waste to miss out on the visuals the game has to offer XD
