Dark Endings [RP Linkshell]Follow

Some had asked about this earlier, so I thought to advertise here on ZAM as a direct point in case anyone wanted to know. Dark Endings is a roleplaying linkshell on Mysidia, currently with a low number of players, who created on Mysidia prior to realizing that Besaid was named the unofficial RP server. For any on Mysidia who are interested in exploring some storyline (SE produced or self-made), please give us a shout. We'll be happy to offer a pearl to those who merely want to join and produce some story/RP, listen in, or a pearlsack for those who might want to take a greater involvement. Here's some info:

RP element: Dark Endings is a group of adventurers who recognize the darker elements in a Final Fantasy world. We perform heroic and world-changing actions, yes, though it isn't for the betterment of the world as much as it is for... us. Some of us may have an... appreciation, let's say, for what so many people call 'Evil.' Granted, the forces the majority of the world currently recognize as such are power hungry, ruthless, destructive--let's just call them 'obvious.' They call to them every "Brightblade" and "Goodsword" and whatever other names the holier-than-thou 'heroes' name themselves these days directly to them. It's foolish. Those of Dark Endings seek to find a more subtle way of obtaining the power they need to... kindly lead the world into a better image--ours. That, of course, means "helping" people in the world and "reluctantly accepting" their rewards, building our power and coin until we can tackle those ridiculous evil forces. We all have our motives. We all have our loves, our yearnings, our friends. We're people, after all--not some nameless enigmatic world-destroyer.

Rules: We're generally casual, friendly, and open minded. We play both for the game and for roleplay. You're welcome to participate in either as much or as little as you desire. Just don't bring drama--unless it is part of your story! That said, OUR story doesn't have to be YOUR story. Just because some of the members of Dark Endings have a... darker mindset, don't feel that you have to. Perhaps you're the valiant warrior who seeks to undermine the darkness and reclaim us. Perhaps you were a villian and have been redeemed. Or, perhaps you are simply looking for a little story and haven't thought as far as 'what kind of character am I?' Any of that is fine--we just like story. That's what brought many of us to Final Fantasy in the first place.

Additional info:

We are loosely connected with the RPC who has established Besaid as the unofficial roleplay server. (Ours was created prior to the creator's realization of the RPC's existence.) We may have further interactions and coordination as time goes on but, as of now, we are currently our own entity that has been granted kindly permission to advertise our existence on their site.
