Anyone have any news on ....Follow

Hi all

Before i start its not a quiting thread so dont flame me :D . i do like the game i can see around the rough edges , But i just wondered if there was any news on the following as these bugs / problems do frustrate me sometimes.

1. Grp random exp ( sometimes even after showing you gain exp after the fight it adds nothing )

2. Server lag / Sync issues ( having a fair ping for server location and population 50-300
But still we gt 5-10 sec casting times

3. Maybe add a clickable grp wondow for healers , as in dungeons or close areas if pushed back you vanish into the walls making it hard to be healed.

4. Being able to short cut key the other quick bars ( 11-30 ) etc etc

5. To be able to repair items without having to take them off

6. Some kind of mass selling items from bag to venders & some sort of way to arrange items in bag or to have all items being worn in a diffrent window.

7. Some kind of information on how mob killing exp works

8. Do we get any updated Graphic effects on skills later in game or does every skill we get look the same.

9. Last but not least ive played a few characters and it sems to me im getting new skills that all look the same maybe a color diffrence and a sound but animation are the same. But the problem is they all do the same dmg / use the same tp so whats the point ( Even though they do have diffrent descriptions )


That will do for the moment , i know its early days but some of these problems should have been adressed before release ( exp problem ) Plus getting some sort of information make the game feel so much more playable when you know something is being done.
But as it is everytime the game goes down my mind says .. what for , wonder what they are fixing fingers crossed it will enhance the game.
But alas since release i think only 1 time its been mentioned why servers where coming down. and that was for heal exploite ( which was good they addressed it fast )


Anyway if anyone has any info spill the beans so i have something to look forward to

No to all of them is the short answer.

All SE has declared so far is an issue with Lodestone not displaying portraits correctly, and that macro's involving HQ items (+1, +2 etc) do not function correctly. They have also mentioned plans to segregate Market Wards into specific craft areas that will allow crafters to sell those crafts for reduced tax on their sales (not enforced, simply encouraged).

No news on any other issue has been brought forward.

The reason SE only has those things listed on Lodestone is because those things are actually "broken". Other game-related elements that are functioning but A) Not broken B) Not explained C) Being tweaked and/or D) Individual preference are being worked on behind closed doors. But those things are not broken.

Not everyone reports this as the case. I personally do not have this problem.

Personal preference, make macro's with your party members names as the target.

This will never happen because of the Macro Binding system...which is personal preference. If you don't like the system, I don't know what to say, but you can do "anything" really in the Macro system so if you want an ability hotkey set to Alt+1 for instance, set that ability up in the Alt+1 macro.

Preference or tweaking. I personally hate it because I have to carry around a pair of clean britches to swap out when I soil myself while crafting... Smiley: sly

Again, not broken, just clunky. I'm sure it will be tweaked.

Thx for reply but i noticed you say that grp exp not broken. Is this just your guess or your have a thread where its explained.

Because after alot of testing with my normal mmo guys the results showed.

grp of 2 players ok exp some loss ( exp not gained even after listing as gained )

Grp of 3 players exp very random with alot of lost exp

much the same with grps of 4 5 and 6

The best set up to have for exp is grp of 3 players with 1 afk this way exp was better with no too much exp loss.

Example of exp loss ( chat box )

You gain 50 axe exp
You gain 42 Axe exp
You gain 33 axe exp

after the fight this should all add up to 125 thus should list as.

The Island Crab Dies
You Gain 262 Exp
You Gain 125 Axe Exp


But with exp loss you get

The Island crab dies
You Gain 262 Exp

( No Axe exp and none has been added to axe exp bar )


To me this seem to be bugged or broken . unless in some sick way its working as intended to just keep us on our toes so we never know what we will really get :D

The group xp is totally ****** and lag is awfull regarless of where you are.
