First off I just wanted to say I am really enjoying the game thus far. The Graphics, the epic into, even the writing for the story line is just great.

First question I had was;
- I'm a Gladiator as of right now, do I need to raise other roles up, as in should I have them be about the same rank level as Gladiator? If so which ones would be good to have combine with Gladiator?

- I was lucky and my brother bought me a nice shield and sword very quick into the game ( which is awesome ) but should I be raising my Craft skills to be able to make my own weapons and armor later on? Or will there maybe be a way of keeping my gear up to date through quests, and or exploring/killing mobs?

- Lastly I just finished the main story line all the way up to where the soldiers come into the barracks frantically after being attacked by a 'shadow'? Now the quest line seems to have stopped, and I don't know where, or when I can continue it. ( I'm in the Nature/Forest town also, I believe is called Gladia? )

Thanks in advance! :)

You don't need if you don't want. Sure it gives benefit, but IMO gears and Physical Level is more important than cross classes.

Picking up a craft now might not be a good idea, everybody are rushing to skill up their craft thinking of making profit, driving material price up to ridiculous level. Only the top crafters would be able to profit in the current situation IMO, because they control the market with hard-to-make items while the material needed are also only useable by them. You may want to consider grinding DoW/DoM and do local leve for free craft SP + physical EXP, keep the mats you found and grind your craft with your own mats in your free time. Unless that is you got a whole gang of people feeding you material until you're bored of 3 hours a day click Enter to spam that Standard Synth for skill up.

Story quests are for Rank (Yes, rank, not Physical Level) 1, 10, 15, 20 etc. Then there are Guild Quest that you get when you reach rank 20 of the class and talk to NPC of that class Guild (Assume you would also have to finished at least rank 15 main story quest).
