So i get the concept with Battle Regimen and i go through the propper steps. Its working better than beta did.. but still having issues. My duo partner starts with his.. then i hit regemen and do normal attack as well. As soon as thier loaded i hit the Battle Regimen button again. Only issue is sometime one of out attacks dont go off. Is there a wait time we have to wait once stacked? is it still glitchy? Some advise please

I have the same problem as you and since we (our linkshell) tried it at level 10 and failed miserably with it we haven't tried it since. Can anyone actually pull this off consistently?

Friend gladiator and myself conjurer and another conjurer have been trying the one on lodestone for 2 night now and it never has worked. the 2nd person always just stands there and does nothing. We are following instructions to a T. We also tried every combination of distance from the mob. IMO it broke.

I have gotten them to go off but only when Duoing. I would say 1/10 go off and their not worth it. As of now i'm going to blame it on the awsome lag.

the worst part about Battle Regiment is that you cannot heal while it is active. We died while testing it out because I could not get a heal out.

The worst thing about it is that they didn't simply copy-paste the awesome Skillchain/Magic Burst system from FFXI.

*This* made party/raid based combat in WoW seem dull and mindless by comparison. Leave it to some developers on the FFXIV to strip out another great aspect of FFXI from this game.

Interesting, especially considering people haven't regularly used skillchains or magic burst in FFXI for years.

I've tried doing it the way the website says and nada, it never went off automatically. The only time I did get ito work was when I hit the regiman start then they follow up by hitting their regiman button.

I found this on a Lodestone diary (only realized I could search the blogs today, it's kinda fun!), and it may be worth a shot:

Battle Regimens Broken
wouldnt it be so nice if after posting all of the information about battle regimes, that they actually WORKED.

the final hit of a regimen never goes off. So we are doing 2 person chains by using 3 people :P

you would think they would actually check to make sure that it works before posting information.

From his comments section on the blog post:

yes i know how to do them jerec.

What happens currently is (assuming noone misses and such), all the moves in the queue go off EXCEPT the final one.

So what we do is queue up 1 more move than is needed. And broken like that it works.

Ummm...You've been playing the game wrong if you weren't using SC's up until the last year or so. Unless of course, your in one of those linkshells that wait for mobs to get easier, or there is a level cap increase to kill things, etc. I don't think you could beat einherjar pre-nerf without proper light-sc's and MB's.

I left FFXI many years ago due to personal business. I heard they pretty much destroyed
the purpose of Skillchains later on in the Treasures of Aht-something expansion? Like,
instead of coordinating your group, everybody would just smack away at little pink birds?

Makes me happy I left with my good old-timer memories, hahaha!

Now you don't even have to draw your weapon to level up in FFXI. All you need is time, an Abyssea XP alliance and an inventory full of keys.

I *think* I was getting them off consistently in a duo. At least we're always seeing both attacks that were qued up in the BR stack (+gloweys), but it's hard to actually see a noticeable effect.

And yes, locking out the healer from doing ANYTHING is HUGE problem that's going to make BR not very popular.

Interesting idea, not fully baked. Like the rest of the game, it's a paid beta test.
