Anybody knows how to repair a weapon?
If you wish to repair your own weapon, you must have the repair item listed on the weapon's info panel in your inventory. You must unequip the weapon. You must be of the correct crafting class (which is, I believe, the class needed to make the weapon in the first place). When you select the weapon from your inventory, the "Repair" button will be enabled; press it to start repairing your weapon. Note that your class rank influences your chances of success and if your Rank is too low, you will be told that you won't attempt repairing the weapon.
If you wish to have someone else repair your weapon, unequip it and select "Seek Repairs", which will place it in your bazaar as such. Offer a price to have it repaired (which can be cash or items). The crafter taking you up on the offer must supply the repair item; you should factor this in to your offer. It might also be a good idea to somewhere where crafters congregate and announce your offer (use say, please).
Finally, in each city there is a repair NPC who will repair for a gil charge. In this case, your weapon must *be* equipped. Also, while PC repairs bring the weapon back to 100%, the repair NPC only repairs to 75% Edited, Oct 10th 2010 2:58pm by ChrisMattern
