I basically stopped playing. Is it easier to find monsters to kill yet?

Did they patch anything new or give us any info on patches coming up?

I've gathered that we don't have an AH yet, can we alt tab?!?!? , any changes with bad framerates?

it's been a few weeks, might as well ask!

is anyone actually addicted to XIV like I once was to XI, playing daily? i can't even stay interested that long atm.

and are there actually high levels yet?

Nope, nope, and potential PEBKAC here I'm afraid, would need more info

I was supposed to be making progress on a paper today. Instead I made progress on my Weaver. Take that how you will.

Would that be good or bad?

Stop. Come back in 6 months and figure out if the game has changed enough to be to your liking. Its not going to happen over night. (And sadly, isn't likely to happen in 6 months. This IS SE after all.)

Eh. I'll just keep checking in every once in a while, hopefully some important changes are made before 6 months. The only downside is that just like with FFXI I'll be late to the endgame/high levels... if I don't don't "force myself" to play the game as it is now, and get to high levels early... sigh I love my Lalafell but there's just too many things wrong and not enough things right lol...

They made some tweaks to a few things, especially a few chat box fixes. Just be patient. I am sure they are working flat out to get as much as possible for the next update which I hear is this week. Fingers crossed a lot is fixed in this?

Depending on what content is going to be added in the patch later this week, I may un-subscribe for a while. I'm just not having fun doing nothing but grinding. There needs to be more breadcrumbs along the path to keep me interested.

If they add the new quests FFXI style, like I've heard rumors of, chocobos, improve the market wards, and fix the UI lag, I will probably keep playing. If not, I'll wait a while and see what they add before coming back.

I cant wait until they fix or break it to where all of you that are displeased with it and just "force" yourself to play can go away.

Cant we get the mods to sticky one super "This game sucks/ Im leaving" thread?

Sick of ppl taking up space with a need to rehash the same old gripes.

By this time everyone knows how many issues the game has so I say be patient or take a leave of absence until you hear the game is up to your "standards".

There are tons of ppl that agree with the same gripes you have and are just playing anyway, so why not do the same or cast silence on yourself until the game is better.

Vote with your wallet not by making countless new threads on how much you hate the game.
