This is a thread on what are some good camps and the reasons why. I know people dont want to share yet because they dont want their camps spammed. But fact of the matter is if people cant figure out where to level than the economy and the game will never grow. Please help out and post all good camps and I will add them here.

While his thread is a very nice guide this thread im making is not a guide. It is a database that everyone can join in on. It will have a more extensive collection with more details. We just need more people to participate and this could be a great thread one day.

I think this early in the game specially for DoW classes after leves all you have to do is grind and some people like to have that special secert spot so they arent going to tell anyone right away till they are done using it, due to the fact they dont want it to get over crowded and they get forced out. MMO's word travels fast.

You are free to steal my other 2 camp suggestions from the other thread, I really don't mind.

I will assume that a good number of people just stuck to the main roads, killing things there though. People might not know about more obscure camps just yet.

And I, myself have found a couple of camps that just didn't work.

Patience! You'll get your database soon enough.

Rank ?? - ??
Went there at rank 12 CON, but these mobs were very easy, could probably do it lower - only at 13 now (I loathe grinding) but for the amount that I had to do to kill I got good SP skillups and exp

http://www.ffxivmaps.com/img/region-la_noscea-large.png
At location (24/23-8)(x-y)
Aurelis (I think are the names) easy mobs to kill

Also saw a group of about 4 rank 12 people there killing crabs (Both Aurelis and Crabs are a-plenty here)

Both of these are limsa side farming spots.

Southeast of bearded rock. There are sheep that give good skill-ups from rank 8 - ?

http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w172/hauptg/FFXIV/8-10grinding.png

West of skull valley. There are moles and some other things that spawn here. Roselings are higher level so look out. You can start here at about rank 12 and I think I kept going until 16. You may be able to camp this place longer. When the mole digs under move. Go to the blue circle on the map and run into the tunnel until you reach the beach. Now kill any roselings first since they agro. Happy grinding!

http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w172/hauptg/FFXIV/lvl12.jpg

With the roselings go all out to kill them quickly and use stoneskin beforehand etc. With the moles just use spirit dart or some other spam.

Does are actually too easy... lol with a party 16-21 of any decent size...

City(area): Coerthas, Miller's Glade
Level Range: party 6+ 16-18
Mob(s): crabs and ground fish
Pos: see image
Drops: blue stainsand, silver fish hooks, crab legs, orbolon liver
addition notes: Did a party of 7 people or so between 16-21. Decent exp, probably better at lower levels. The fish hit hard - probably worth avoiding if possible but they aggro so beware.

I'll see if my two favorite camps are listed already when I get home tonight.

Keep updating! I like the format. Compiling these 2 threads and making a Guide out of them will be great.

Although if it becomes a sticky, it seems like it will get more traffic and also help people with a similar idea build on what is available rather than start from scrath.

Ive updated but I couldn't add all of them because of the vague descriptions and lack of information. Id like to remind you all to try to follow the format given. It will help players because the more information the better. and it also helps me put it in the right category because I haven't been everywhere I don't know exactly what you all are talking about sometimes.

Thanks for the updates guys.

EDIT: also I agree that this would be better served as a sticky.

You don't have to put it in. They conned red when I was solo as a Con R21. So I never poked them. Thought it was worth mentioning to people that there was that kind of mob concentration.

Mob(s): Dreadwolf (can also kill squirrels and does)

You should post this information on the wiki instead of on the forum. Anyone can edit the wiki as long as they are users.

Under the geography section, I think Pikko said to put the camps in their own wiki, but mention them in the region they are in.

Ok, Can't remember the name of the camp, but the rank 10 camp near LL. Level 15 or so, group of 4 (1 tank, 2 dd, 1 healer). We skilled on the crabs south of the camp, near the shore. As the healer i was getting 350-500 SP per fight.
