Below is the email so beware. My email account was hacked this past week and they made their way into my WoW account causing all kinds of mischief by moving toons to various servers with much more gold than I had and deleted the Blizzard emails so I had no clue that 'your password was changed' or that 'this character was transferred to this server'.

I got all that taken care of and secured my email but I guess they saw in my emails that I played FF as now this crap has started. Notice the hash instead of dot after account in the web address....very sneaky.

Don't underestimate the power of stupidity. Out of a thousand email they sent out, I bet at less 1 or 2 will bite.

Yea I think anyone can throw caution into the wind when you want to log on and play and think that you have to go through the hassle of resetting your password. Although, most people should know that by now no legitimate company provides a link for you to click on inside of an email.

Actually they do. During my ordeal getting my WoW account straight I received several Blizzard emails during the process about clicking this link for this reason and that link for that reason. Just today now that it's all over I get one last Blizzard email wanting me to click to fill out a Customer Service survey so they can officially close my ticket. So yes, there are links throughout official emails as well. This is actually how the fishers get their email format to begin with. They take a official email, change the address your clicking on, and then have their template to send around the world.
