Will all be fixed for PS3?Follow

Yes, I noticed that this game was rushed to an early release that the majority of users, for lack of better words, HATE.

Still, call me a fanboy, but I still see HUGE potential in this game. Though I am not buying the game for PC (1 because of the many complaints, 2 my PC sucks *** and cant run it) i am still very interested in this game.

My question is: Will this game be "fixed" by the PS3 release in March of 2011?

We all hope lol . . . .

From the looks of it SE is going to be patching the game once every week or two.
With every patch small issues get resolved.

The game will be more playable once ps3 launch happens and a lot of the largest issues
by then will have been sorted or on the way to be being sorted out.

If the two biggest hindrances to gameplay are removed the clunky UI and market search/ah implementation
the game will be more fun and impressive.

If by PS3 launch these biggest problems aren't rectified i am worried about this game. It has such potential and for the
moment i am having fun and enjoying it.

so that's my answer 2 ur question :P

If there are to be changes by March, they will probably be interface and video performance improvements. To what degree they haven't specified.

You have a couple frames of mind to deal with on this question. One frame is those who don't feel the game is broken...but more along the lines of incomplete/rushed/unpolished. This is pretty much where I stand. I know it will be better in the coming months. The other frame is those who do indeed hate the game for the basic flawed mechanics...which were not mistakes made by SE...but put into the game with a purpose. This hate seems to run pretty deep based on poor reviews and forum backlash. I have a feeling most of the haters will continue to hate because the game should updated enough to cover the incomplete/rushed/unpolished issues...but the basic gameplay complaints will probably stay. Possibly tweaked...but SE sure likes to stick to their I wouldn't expect any major changes any time soon.

Took them 5 years to get what we have here, in the short time between now and ps3 relese the majority of the paid staff for this game are working on getting the PS3 version working. PS3 release will be largely as we have here, it's impossible for them to do as much work as is needed with so few people.

This is not an MMO were they release it and then all the team are working on making it better, this is an MMO where the same team is now busy on another project(ps3 release). It will largely stagnate in it's horirble state for some time yet.

Square are largely gambling on the stupidity of their playerbase and i'm not sure if it will work for them or not(any other title would be dead as a dodo by now being released in this state), common sense is prevailing atm but most FF players are a VERY forgiving bunch, so square decided rightfully(probably) to abuse them and take advantage of there money and blind loyalty to pay for development well well before they should of released it. I guess thats what fanbois are for though.

So no it wont, no way in ****.

So far, (based on the info on the official website, gameplay videos, and the very detailed IGN review) I really like the style that this game takes on. It stand out and separates itself from other MMO's out there. My main concern is the UI issues, the lack of an organized free trade area, the lag when in certain areas, and potentially the lack of quest diversity. As said, most of the other things people are "hating" are all personal preference.

March is our only hope since it gets its second "Official Launch". If there wasn't a PS3 version coming out then I would have a already quit.
FFXI: Gonz on Titan

FFXIV: Ninja Wind on Besaid

WoW: Ninjawind on Andorhal-US

Without a time machine why would you ask a question for which no one can offer a answer?

The world may end before March for all I know.

What I do know is no one knows the answer to your question. I will try to remember to necro this post next March with a answer for you.

I disagree slightly. I'm quite sure SE knows exactly what's on their FF14 project list and what projects on that list will be complete by march.

It's being privy to that information that is the issue, and the community just isn't that lucky.

Will they rewrite half the game by March?

I doubt it.
