What's the evidence that suggests you need to get a life outside of XIV:

Quote:
My evidence is hundreds of synths on a character with armorer at 22, weaver at 21, and everything else (except cooking) between rank 12 and 15.

So you came to a Game forum to tell people they should play less?

GTFO out, sir.

I usually don't tell people how their malignent posts are ridiculous. What's the point? But I've had more than enough of reading through ZAM trying to learn more about FFXIV just to find people poking each other with sticks.

If you can't beat 'em, then call them stupid. That works, right?

*sigh*

Lol I guess you have to be looking for 1's and 5's. I am going to try one more thing though to see if it affects the leves they offer you. When I log off I'm going to equip an Armorer tool in my main hand on all 3 characters so that they are all Armorers when the leves reset. It's probably a long shot but it can't hurt to try.

Nope, didn't work. I still only get rank 10 Armorer leves. I'm starting to think that there are no rank 1 or 5 leves in Ul'dah or Gridania for Armorer (besides the tutorial leves). I've searched other sites and no one seems to be posting anything except rank 10.

I couldnt imagine making this at 25. Takes way too many shards to justify loosing.

At 29 I am 3/4.

If you do all 8 leves on one craft and DO leves near or above your rank with guild support you can easily get 400+ per.

I really wish people would stop recommending facility support for everything. It makes no difference whatsoever unless the recipe recommends it. If the recipe recommends it, it makes a huge difference. If not, you're just wasting your gil (and your time if you're running to a camp for support because the guild you require is in a different city). You'd be better off investing that gil into better crafting gear with +craft, +mag craft and/or +control. That makes a far more substantial difference than talking to an NPC and spending gil you don't need to every 5-6 synths.

Ill play my game you play yours 200gil is nothing compared to the extra support you get. Support = Higher quality items which equals more SP and less chance at failing. When you can do rank 20 leves at level 14 and get around 20k gil per leve 200gil for craft support is nothing and it helps out. Quit posting just to be posting and trying to start an arguement.

You dont need to go to a camp to get facility support. Just be a crafter class go to the reapir NPC say you want to repair your own goods and he gives you the support for 200-300gil.

Wow. Yollew Gremlin has an incredible database. Thanks Aurelius. I can't imagine that every site will keep up with every other site's database. Ugh, what a lot of work.

Just listing these here for my own quick reference. Looks like there will be new crafting challenges for quite a ways into the future.

FFXIV.YG.Com is one of the best FFXIV info sites out there atm specially for crafting.

It's possible im wrong but from what i've seen:

Craftmansship = Strength of craft This stat improves your chance of getting success.

Control = Accuracy of craft This stat reduces the chance of your element going out of control or sparking.

Mag. Craft. = Critical Crafting This stat improves quality gains and your chance of HQing a synth.

This is just my guess's on it.

I don't necessarily mind having my position challenge, but I've got no use for ********* There's no way you're getting anywhere near 20k gil for a rank 20 local level. They pay less than 4k gil as a generic base amount. There's no way you're using Common support to get higher quality at rank 14 than I get doing the same rank 20 leve at rank 25 and I've never seen a gil reward higher than 6k for anything (and that 6k was a rank 25 leve).

If you're the superstitious type and are okay with spending the gil every 5-6 synths "just because" then you go right ahead and do that, but don't make up nonsense and post it in such a way that might lead others to do the same thing. I'll play my game, you play yours, and if you're going to spread information that might influence how other people play theirs, you'd **** well better make sure it's correct. The only thing worse than unknowingly spreading incorrect information is making up a pile of **** and trying to pass it off as truth. Just don't do it.
