Which drivers do you use? I'm using version 258.96 and I get the "IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL" bluescreen deathcrash.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Never had the issues on the WHQL drivers nor the two most recent Beta drivers. Only suggestion I can think of is to do a full wipe of drivers and reinstall. The Beta drivers have a clean install tool if you don't mind straying away from release drivers.

If that doesn't fix it I suggest you ask on a PC tech related forum.

Try 160.83

I don't think that's the problem though. Sounds like you have bad ram.

If you've got an overclocked card, that might cause it too. Try resetting to factory settings.

Try removing RAM one by one and running Memtest to check for stability.

I considered the bad ram thing since i recently replaced my sticks, but the only time i get the bluescreen is when i play FFXIV. I get to play for 10 mins, then BLUE. Hoping it's just the driver and not a bad card. Any thoughts??

Test your RAM regardless. Stability can't really be gauged until a component is stressed, and FFXIV should put enough stress on the memory to cause it to BSOD. In almost all cases of BSOD, software is the victim, not the culprit. Hardware is usually the component that's faulty.

I have that card and use 258.96 drivers and the game runs fine. FFXIV makes my video card run hotter than any other game. Run a program to monitor your GPU temperatures and see if you are getting over 90 degrees celcius while in the game. If you are overheating download MSI afterburner and see if you can adjust the fan speed using the utility. It should look like a chart and you can set at each temperature point, how fast the fan should be utilized.

Monitor your CPU temperatures and make sure that it is not overheating.

Oh and did you update your motherboard chipset drivers?

I'm using 258.96 on mine too and I've never had that issue. I would definitely check your RAM as the above suggester said.

That too

Oh! And it may seem a simple thing, but check your airflow, especially if you're running things a little extra hot (overclocking and all that), doesn't matter how fast the fans are going if the hot air ain't going anywhere. Check for dust too.

I know those are really basic solutions and they're probably solutions you have already looked into, but they're solutions people tend to overlook when things go haywire.
