I keep getting the not working error when i click on the game to load it. Im using bootcamp on my Mac and running Windows 7 OS.

# 2.93GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
# 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 4x2GB
# 1TB Serial ATA Drive
# 8x double-layer SuperDrive
# ATI Radeon HD 5750 1GB GDDR5 SDRAM

They are my specifications, Ive tried download catalyst's for it. Also downloaded the beta boot.exe and replaced it to see if they fixed the problem. im running on 32 bit as well.

Ive been beating my head against the wall all over the internet trying to find a solution, Could anyone please help me out? Really want to get into this game.

I've been getting the same problem on my MacPro since Open Beta. I thought it may be the ECC memory (since the c0000005 error is memory related) or the fact I have dual Xeon CPUs (since the affinity set to 1 core allowed it to "work" in beta at about 3fps). I called SE support and they said, gee it should work on that system, it's more than sorry can't help you further. Done a ton of troubleshooting myself with no real luck. The only way I found to run it at all on the retail release is to set it to Windows 98/ME compatibility mode. It's rather laggy but playable to some degree, and only plays in a window of a set size that I cannot change in ffxivconfig no matter the setting.

I wish you all the luck, I'd love to know how to fix it myself. Paid $50 for a game that I can't play when I more than meet the requirements, tech support will not help, so when the free 30 days expires I won't be renewing. They need to put some effort into fixing it.
