I hate to post one of these threads but i'm at the point where I have to or i'll have to quit untill I can get the PS3 version.

The issue right now is I can play the game smoothly for anywhere from 10-20 minutes lag free but then the lag sky rockets or frame rate plummets or what ever it may be for about 5 minutes and then it will be good for another 10-20 minutes, this all on a 1/2 buffer, lowest resolution and all the extra clicked off. If I put the game on a 1/4 buffer I can play mostly lag free but that is almost unplayable as you cant even make out player names at that point. This hhappens at any location in the game, happens in towns, in the black woods, and all zones between there and limsa (havent hoofed it to uldah yet)

I'm working with an Asus g71g-x
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8700 @2.53GHz
6.00 gigs of ram
Nvidia Geforce gtx 260m with 1 gig of ram
Windows Vista 64 bit
All drivers up to date

If anyone could offer some advice to help me boost my performance I will name my first born child after you lol
