a. Yes

9. If you play a character of an opposite gender, please explain any reasons why.

I played a male Taru in FFXI because the female Tarus were weird looking.

10. How are male characters typically treated?

11. How are female characters typically treated? -the same as above.

12. How do male players typically act? Typical is a terrible word.

Let me sum this up for you. Yes women play all MMO's. No they are not treated differently UNTIL THEY REVEAL IT TO 13 YEAR OLDS. The rest of us don't give a ****. If your a terrible player, you don't get invited back. If your good you get invited back. End of story, good bye.

That's kind of not the point of the thread. I'm sure the OP needs to do surveys as a part of an assignment, not because they have no concept of the way things are. Generally, personal impressions are frowned upon. The purpose is to collect data.

Never confuse your inference as the listener for an implication of the speaker.

Good games are subjective like good food is subjective. You're not going to seriously tell me that there's not a psychological basis for why pizza is great and lutefisk is revolting. The thing about subjectivity is that, as subjects go, humans actually have a great deal in common.

If you had read the forum rules, you'd know that posting "surveys for my class" are frowned upon unless you ask an admin for permission first.
