Traits allow stat swapping?Follow

Ok so, I've looked through some of the traits I can buy with pug marks and I'm sure like every other guild abilities you can purchase traits that convert say 10 STR into 10 Mind, now I really like this idea because it gives more reason to use mage abilities on a melee class and vice versa.

I just have some questions on how this works, do you just add it to your trait bar on the action list? Can it be used only on the class you purchased with guild marks for or can you say switch to your conj when pug is your main and be able to add the trait to swap str for int so your not gimped. If so this would mean you can still add all your points to melee stats with still being able to be a medicore caster rather then a totally gimped one.

Anyone have much info on this yet?

I second your curiosity, and have been biding my time to figure it out on my own, but if anyone has 1st hand experience with this i would love to know (also 'cause i dont want to spend hard-earned guild marks on something i may not need)

Yeah, I'm in the same boat as you on not wanting to end up wasting my guild marks, although I'm very tempted to purchase it just to see how it works. If it works how I hope it does then those whos main classes are melee don't have to worry about gimping their main by putting points into mage stats. Which would make sense since SE has said in the past they want players playing other classes.

agreed, and even though you can re-allocate stats, to fully do so at lvl20+ takes SEVERAL hours. and if you end up spending them as you go then u can add to the time it will take to complete. if this is a hard-earned way of side-stepping some of this time, then it sounds great

either way, let us know what you find if you end up trying it

Its a trait. You can use it on any job. It doesnt have to be the job you bough it with
for example

I have the thm trait that turns 5 pie into 5 vit

any job with have +5 vit and -5 pie untill you remove the trait. Works great for me since I also play a glad
