I did some test toward Vit vs Rank Lvl vs Hp

As marauder every point of Vit before the cap gave 15hp and 0hp over the cap

Rnk........Vit cap...........Rnk.........Vit cap..........Rnk......Vit cap
1 .............. 30 ..............6 ...............40.............11...........52
2 .............. 32 ..............7 ...............42.............12...........54
3 .............. 34 ..............8 ...............44.............13...........56
4 .............. 36 ..............9 ...............46.............14
5 .............. 38 ..............10 .............50..............15

At rank 10 without any gears on me and 50Vit i had 1130 HP

I wanted to see if the Vit you get from gear was able to actualy give benifit even after the cap.
So equiped 2 pieces of gears with +1 Vit each, My vit went from 50 to 52 on attribute and gears menu
but my hp did remain the same. I then removed those gears and reasigned attribute point, gave 48 Vit wich gave me 1100 hp. So i equiped the +vit gears and Vit went from 48 to 52 but my hp didnt changed. with 50 Vit(48+2) hp was still at 1100. So i gave myself 2 other vit point and HP went to 1130 again.

So even if the Bonus stats from gears add up in your attribute info i am ready to guess that its
somehow broken and dont work. Tomorow i will do the same test with Gla and lancer to see if Vit cap is the same and if the vit from gear work for them. I ll also keep updating the scaling on vit Cap aswell.

Tested if other class would work the same toward Vit added with gears and yes it's the same, even if the bonus add up to your total you dont get any benifit from it.

you might have been hitting the soft cap however, since soft cap for vit at lvl 20 is ~80

With wich class ? cause if thing keep goin like this Mrd ll have a Vit cap of 70 at rank 20
So if you play Gla that would make sense that Vit cap is higher

On topic yet off class, as a Rank 28 Conjurer, 83 VIT does not have me capped.

When it comes to sitting around not doing anything for long periods of time, only being active for short windows, and marginal changes and sidegrades I'd say FFXI players were the perfect choice for politicians.

I wonder if this holds true for all stats.
@ lvl 1 stat cap = 30, and for every level over that it goes up +2

Either way, good info, and thanks :D

i was an armorer, but i think stats hold true throughout most classes.

I doubt it, i'm pretty sure the stats cap arent the same for every class would be dumb to have let say a
con with same vit cap then a gla. And with the stats influencing crafting it sound right that they have
different cap also.

If any1 start up Gladiator, lancer, pugilist or archer from rank 1 to rank 10 and is wiling to check the vit cap i would gladly add the result. Private pm or reply would work fine
thank you

The thing that sucks about this hidden stat cap is that it's hidden. The game doesn't in any way shape or form inform you that you have capped a stat for your given level.

While Vitality can be tested like this adding points until you nolonger see a gain, how would you ever know if you have reached the cap for your given level for Strength, or Dexterity etc...

Say at level 10 your vit caps at 50 and you have 100 points. You put 50 in Vit and you know you have 50 points you can put elsewhere.

What about Dex or strength etc..? There is no way to test what the cap is so where do you cut off from adding points there and begin distributing them elsewhere?

What happens is people will continue to put their points towards a stat even after it has capped unknowingly. Dex could be capped at 40 for all we know and you could have 60-70 points there. Thats 20-30 points doing absolutely nothing. Basically wasting essential points building up a stat to no effect at all while stats that could benifit from the points remain untouched.

I just cant believe all the things I find out or notice about this game. It gives me a headache thinking about wtf S/E was thinking at any given time during developement.
