I shoulda known that this would pan out the same as FFXI did. If there's one thing FF players seem to lack its social skills. community = nill. Any other mmo you can log in, and find a damn group and play to your hearts content. Here, I have now solo'd all 27 of my levels, its slowing down drastically - and the guys with LS's or static groups are pulling away.

One of two things are going to happen. I'm going to get a static party and start plowing through the levels again or I'm going to quit. This is my attempt at the first more appealing option.

Anyone out there in the same boat as me? Mid 20's - a clique filled linkshell that already has its "static" groups formed and your not part of em. Tired of soloing yellow mobs for 50skill?

I'm looking for 2-4 guys all mid 20's all daily players who can devote atleast 3 hours a day to a grind. The more the merrier. I'd like to find 3 guys who all want to grind 10 hours a day but thats probably wishful thinking at this point.

So any takers? High playtime, hardcore guys who dont want to have to worry about trying to find an xp party any longer? We can hash out the details if your interested but dont post here and waste my time if your not down for it because im looking to get this rolling asap.

and this is the irony i expected. Which is sad imo. Seriously are we that against grouping? Or am I so illiterate that I somehow am overlooking how useful and easy the LFG tool is?

People were selling their souls for spots in static parties in XI and now I'm trying to ensure atleast a group of us dont have to solo for a level a week and I cant even find a single bite. I honestly, truely dont want to quit FFXIV. Unfortunately I derive my enjoyment in an MMO from staying competitive and being the first to do this or that, or atleast riding the crest of the wave. That means that unless I can find a group on more than a one off occasion (which is how it is now) or get in a static party, I'll just fall further and further behind soloing and it will lose its luster. XI commanded that you party to the point of soloing being all but impossible, now XIV is the other extreme. Its like they cant grasp the concept of a bit of both.

While we're on the subject, im sure plenty of you are thinking "get a linkshell" of which I mentioned, I have. Unfortunately, internal strife and clique's have caused a once extremely successful guild to fall into disarray. Apart from seeking a static - I am also on the hunt for a linkshell. I'm selective however and selective for a reason. JFK once said "ask not what your LS can do for you, but what you can do for your LS" or something like that! I have years and years and years of MMO experience, about half of those "years" of leadership experience, however I can follow just the same. I have always been part of whichever server I reside on's premiere guild due to my desire to compete endgame and/or tackle all that particular game has to offer. I also have a high to very high playtime depending on who you ask.

All this boils down to me seeking a party to clobber some xp often as of well.. like a week ago, and in the very near future establishing myself within a linkshell that has intentions and capabilities of clobbering all the hard content square can throw at us. (with my help of course!)

Any takers? We can start tonight!

I'm having the same problem. I want to get into a small group and grind out sp but the people at the camps just ignore you. It's all LS cliques and if you don't have members in your LS that play at the same time you do you're pretty much screwed for grouping. I usually get on around 7 or 8 est and am looking for a group. I'm a healing speced con looking for a static group of 3 to 4 (tank and dps class at least) that want to just grind for a few hours on weekdays and as long as the group can stand on weekends. We'd be knocking out our leves of course too. Any other east coast US players out there interested?
