I use it and it takes a long time to reuse any other skill during battle I believe it can be stacked but I really have no idea how it's used... if anyone can give me some insight I'd deeply appreciate it...

PS: It's gotten me killed a couple of times cuz I couldn't Cure myself lol.

I have yet to successfully complete one

But another thread few days ago mentioned an limitation not stated in that article

Battle Regiment needs to be Queued up in a very small window. (Possibly within the same time span as FF11 SCs)

Otherwise it will not work.

So the first person click battle Regiment , then queue his action - a tone will play and a red circle thingy aura will be around him.

Upon seeing this the 2nd person need to immediately click battle Regiment and queue his actions

then immediately execute

Unfortunately thus far I have not had one party member who can follow those instructions. Either that or I am doing it wrong XD Which is very possible.

I have only succeeded with a two-person chain. The ones that require three people needed WS/magics from three different classes and I'd tried two conjurers, one used a Thaumaturge magic and the other used a conjurer magic but it didn't succeed.

So here are the steps for two people chain:

1. First person presses the Battle Regimen button, then choose a skill to stack. An icon will appear above the mob's HP bar and you'll see what skill this person stacked in the queue. You'll also see a red bar below that skill, this is the timer for the whole skill chain, if the chain doesn't release and the bar gets empty, you'll fail the chain. The timer goes pretty slow and the second person has plenty of time to stack his skill.

2. Second person presses the Battle Regimen button and choose a skill to stack.

3. ONE person press the Battle Regimen button one more time and the chain will start automatically.

Note: when it's your turn to do stack your skill, do it only once, if you press another skill, it'll mess up the whole queue. Also, assign one person to execute the regimen once everyone stacks their skill.

I could do it with my friend pretty much everytime and it only takes about 2 seconds to execute the whole thing. (with no lag)

Decide action(All basic class attacks make it work) You can use lodestone to decide what combo of actions you want the effect for. Leader presses BR button queues action. The others follow suit. Once all the skills are in place the leader hits the BR button again. I usually have to hit it 5-6 times to make it actually go off so button spammage it is for the moment. If another member starts pressing the BR button too while this is happening it is boned. That's how i been getting it to work almost every time. If the button spammage is doing something else I dunno about it. It is extremely clunky and Skillchains are greatly missed.

I've red that too. But I think this renders the whole regimen system absolutely useless because it's the same a skillchains were, just more complicated and at times impossible because of lag. I too didn't see a working regimen yet.

If they want regimen to be viable they should take the timeframe out of it, if there really is one.
Or they get rid of the whole battle regimen system and use the skillchain system of FFXI. I'd prefer the skillchain system because it fits the current real time button smashing combat style.

So if going solo then battle regimen is of no use, sigh, already a pain, because if enter battle regimen by mistake while in a battle I've found you have to cancel and go passive to get out of it, all the time getting you *** kicked
is there anywhere to disable battle regimen

PGL is the new SAM. With pummel I gain 1000-1500 tp in a single hit. I can pull off combos of 3 WS's hit pummel twice and start again.

THIS.
Give.me.back.my.Skillchains. 1000x.

Incredible to believe they took out the best invention FFXI had and turned it into garbage.

Skillchains wouldn't work in this game.

All I need to know about the system, however, is this:

To address such issues, we will be making modifications to the way in which the enmity mechanism works, in addition to reexamining the Battle Regimen system.

Oh, the opposite actually. I used logic.

Tell me, how would the system work in a game where weapon skills, abilities and spells are spammed left and right? Good luck setting one up.

By not spamming skills for 3 seconds?
Anyway, how exactly are the new battle regimens a solution for that problem?
