I have been playing ffxi since u.s. release and now playing ffxiv from release CE. I have been doing my best to stay active on this forum as much as I can working 10+ hours a day, 5 days a week. I would like to say one thing...

THANK YOU!!!

Despite the posts, ignorance, opinions, progress, trouble, <insert adjective> about this game and the gaming community it has, you have all done an amazing job posting and working through it. I work in an industry where "thanks you's" are rare and there will be a riot of negativity before recognizing anything positive. Wint, Pikko, others (sorry, still learning everyone), you have all posted constructive, well thought out opinions and information about the game. People argue with you and try to flame, but you remain mature, structured, and unbiased (as much as you can be) on this game. I respect and admire that. I read forums during my downtime at work and try to post helpfully when I can.

I just wanted to take the time to say thank you for your contributions, I use the apps from the Droid Market on my phone currently, and I know that you guys are terribly busy and yet you deliver to all of us appreciative players/reader.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!!!!

~Skye

The installer crashed on me like 5 times during load. No clue why. Removing the ethernet cable before beginning the install fixed it, and then the text was all screwy; like when you try to view eastern alphabets on a system that doesn't have them installed, except all of the text was that way. Three restarts later, the installer finally worked, and then it crashed again when I tried to change my theme. Weird.

Yea thanky guys :) Especially the old FFXI Forums where such a good thing. I am positive ZAM Forums will turn into a "productive" community again if there is nothing more to complain about playing ffxiv.

Keep it going.

I wish I could check it at work, I kinda do but my phone sucks and I don't usually get any breaks.

I gotta agree with the OP. I globally moderated a gaming forum for 6 years, and I know it is NAWT fun when the place blows up with pure craptasticness (it's a word to ME, shush). This team is doing a wonderful job, without sounding like pro-FFXIV bots. Really well done, y'all.

(It doesn't hurt that Pikko is from my old FFXI server(s). I'm just sayin'...)
