how would you do guildleves?Follow

If you were able to design a guildleve how would yours play out?

I would like to do a "Defend" type Leve. Where you either escort a NPC through a dungeon (instanced for your party) or where you defend a stationary "wounded" NPC VS. waves of mobs til help arrives.

How would yours play out?

I don't have a specific idea in mind but there is so much they can do with them. Anyone who did Assault in FFXI knows how unique and creative each one was. They were fun, had different goals, and were detailed.

Battle Leves could use the same kind of attention. To compare the two is to say Assault is an art studio while Leves are a number two pencil... and maybe a piece of paper.

Right now Guildleve is all seek and destroy. I haven't found an escort leve or defend type leves.

Though some leve do require thinking (the very first time) - like one of the leve I did in Ul'dan inovlving shooting the various group of assassins and find the ones that change into the target mobs. If you fight each group of assassin they are rough (though I seen high levels just push through that part). But once you know how to pass that leve, it gets repetitive very fast.
