Last Sunday I was a bit bored in LL and decided to look up some RP to spend the time. I went to the main plaze (between the Adv Guild building and the east market area) but there was noone tyhere at the time.

I wouldn't mind some RP as well... I'm new to the game and wouldn't mind learning more about the background and getting into some rp LS's or something :3
I was in a RP LS myself but it appears they haven't been logging in thta much lately but your best chance is to look into the FFXIV Role Play Coalition and find a RPLS there.
Myself I found a nice group of people in my time zone, although they don't RP there are always people to talk to or such.
