Ok so last night, I noticed that I had Gear Damage and I was kind of ****** cause I'd just finished repairing just about everything I had. Then I switched to Alchemist, did a synth and my Gear Damage wore off. ??? I thought something was weird there, but then forgot about it. Then this morning I log on and I have Gear Damage again. I make some Quicksilver and viola, "You are no longer affected by Gear Damage." What is going on?

I think all of the icons are just glitched right now. I had the 'Uncomfortable Gear' icon for about 2 weeks, then at one point during a fight it just wore off. I've also had heavy gear damage when none of my gear was below 50% durability, and the remedy to the icon was simply logging off and back on.

I've seen my icon disappear a few times during crafting but no message shows in log window. Yesterday I low level crafted in the most god awful dirty underwear conceived by a video game and saw this icon glitch.

I've been stuck with the heavy gear damage icon for a while now myself. Even with all of my gear repaired to over 50% I still have it. It started with normal damage, went to heavy damage, went back to normal, and now back to heavy. Has been on heavy for around 4 days now. I had heard of people crafting to get get rid of it, but no such luck in my case.

Not entirely related but:

1. on Wednesday night, I got heavy gear damage on my weapon (brass spear)
2. being a goldsmith with a ton of brass, I repaired it prior to logging out
3. RL takes over for a few days
4. I log back on after maintenance, and my weapon is damaged again to the same point it was before i had done the repair.

So I thought, maybe the repair didn't 'stick'? But nope, my brass nugget that I used was still consumed. Just a frickin bug, I suppose.

Lame, SE. lame.

Someone in my linkshell noticed the same thing yesterday. I am guessing it's a bug, but who knows.

Its bugged.

For instance I will have gear damage and I find the offending jewelry - a Copper Wristlet. I take it off. I still have gear damage but there is NOTHING DAMAGED. GRRR.

So I repair the wristlet, IN MY INVENTORY, and as soon as its repaired, the Gear Damage Icon goes away.

The stupid wristlet isn't even equipped >.< >.<
