I have a question but didn't want to start new thread for it.
If you AOE a group do you only get SP for the one mob?
No. AOE attacks work the same as healing AOE: you get one SP roll per target touched.
Also for the OP, everytime you do an action you get a roll, sometimes it gives SP. You do not gain the SP until the mob is dead however. At the end of the fight you get the total of SP won.
This is actually kind of wrong. When you kill something with AoE, the skill gains are discarded unless they came from the killing blow. You can test this by killing a bunch of mobs with AoE only. You'll notice that you'll get full exp (not sp) from the one you have targeted but the other mobs only give you single digit exp because you are only credited for the last slivers of health.
Also, if you are fighting two mobs simultaneously and keep alternating between targets, you lose some of the sp you've gained during the fight. I'm not entirely sure what makes the game discard gained sp, but somehow you lose credit for mobs that are not constantly targeted. Edited, Nov 3rd 2010 6:58am by Omena
