FFXIV Customer ServiceFollow

I am currently experiencing no response from Square-Enix on an issue that I have been having, ever since the standard edition of the game launch of FFXIV, dealing with disconnections. Yes, I know that when you submit information to them, that sometimes, you get a message that reads "You may not receive a response". For the majority of my inquiries I have not had that message. Moving on: Have any of you received no response, or no valid resolutions to your issue, from their customer/technical support when asking question(s)?

This is not a complaint thread, but rather an inquiry if others have had good interactions or bad interactions with customer/technical support for FFXIV, owned by Square-Enix.

I may post data related to this later on.

To be fair, Japanese companies in general are known for notoriously awful customer service.

The problem is you live in a "the customer is always right" type of area... they do not. If you asked a freaking retarded question in their eyes you are a freaking ******. Suffer. Not saying you did but you have to understand how other places do things. If you didn't get a response your issue is either so minor they don't care, some noob threw it away by accident, or just generally they aren;t prepared to discuss it with you.

I put in a gm request because my retainer was stuck beneath the floor in the market ward and I couldn't summon or click on the retainer's name. They responded within a week by telling me to check the FAQ on their web site or to submit my request on their customer service email. sooo... give it some more time and I am sure you will get a similar helpful note :)

Kind of makes you miss the old days of watching a train of mobs go by, chasing a pc in FFXI and wondering when you were going to have to run from your camp site when they returned :) At least then there was activity.

I believe a way around that is to press TAB and scroll-target retainers until the reticule is locked on yours. But it does get annoying.
