What will you do at the end of Free Trial ? will you stay on if nothing changes, will you switch mmo's or just quit ?

I am only curious because i like to see everyone's thoughts.Where will you go, will the servers remain crowed, what games might be similar to Final Xiv if you are planning a switch?

As a casual player I'll probably leave, I have a great LS but outside of the 2 hours I can dedicate to the game a day, that's only enough to do my regional and local leves, bad enough that vendoring my excess loot takes 15 mins, managing my retainer 15 mins and looking for items to repair/npc repairing 15 mins.

It's so repetitive that I find myself spending some days just playing other games, I loved FFXI and had time for a 2-3 hour party a day, the party based combat was also fun enough/change of scenery every 5 levels. Sure I guess I am only a 18 GLD so this isn't even Qufim party level yet, hopefully I expect that 25+ I can start partying with my LS? By that time most of my LS will all be 35-40, some are already there. Might just random party see how that works.

Thankfully SQEnix has given me an extra month to hit that 25-30 barrier when I can start partying for substantially more exp than my alloted leves (not sure on this). A lot of minor things are getting more and more frustrating, repairing, UI lag, lack of content I can't really blame a new MMO for, but there are just so many funner games out there. And like many, thanks to my FFXIV PC Upgrades they've given me the muscle to play all these other more polished casual games.

I will probably do the same.

After quitting FFXI 18 months ago I've not played any MMO's but was looking forward to getting into FFXIV. I was thinking of trying SWTOR anyway, but thought that i might just be so hooked on FFXIV that I wouldn't want have time. I will also try GW2 now that you mention it.

FFXIV has just been a bit of a dissapointment for me. I will stick around and see what happens, but if something better (and new) comes along before it's 'fixed' then I will be leaving.

I've not logged into FFXIV for a few days now as playing it feel more like work than anything else. I don't really feel that there is anything significant to look forward to in the game yet, so when I think about logging in and spending a few hours grinding when I get home from work I end up thinking my time would be better spent doing other things.
