At level 22 carpenter I could repair my oak cane. I bought an oak cane +3 and was unable to repair it, wouldn't even let me try.

I'm now level 32 carpenter, guess what, I still can't even attempt to repair my oak cane +3. TEN **** levels since I could repair a +0 and I still can't repair a +3. At my level, I can repair level 40 gear, but I can't repair this level 31 +3 staff still. What a stupid system.

Well, an oak cane +3 is so much better than an oak cane, perhaps it's another example of SE's extremism in the immersiveness thing. Or it might be that when you tried to fix something, the fix failed. Try it again. Or try it using a HQ material.

Plus, just to point out, there's a Complaints thread stickied. This could easily have been posted as a "I'm having trouble, why isn't it working?" than as a complaint.

Since you need -10 level to repair a regular. -5 levels to repair a +1. I assume same level to repair +2 and +5 levels to repair +3.. So at 36 you should be fine ^^

The funy thing about this is, last night i made 2 brass belts, one is normal and sold it in 10 min for 55k and the other is +1 and its still in my bazaar, also someone wanted to buy a brass belt and he asked if i have a normal one, i said take this one for 55k, he said no, i cant repair it, and i will find hard time looking for someone to repair it for me.

What's the difference between an Oak Cane and an Oak Cane+3 ? Apart from the repair difficulty.

I'm not seeing better stats on it, except for a slightly higher durability, hardly any though. In combat it's jut like my +0.

Those stars you see out beside the stats actually represent extra stats unfortunately SE didnt bother to put a visable numerical value. People have speculated each + is like an extra 25% stats.

25% stats? Nothing seems to change whever I use the +0 or the +3 one. I'm most definetly not getting a 75% damage increase, not even a 15%.

Get an oak cane +0, and an oak cane +3

Take a look at your M. Atk and M. Acc.

Now put on the Oak Cane +0. Record the numbers
Look at your oak cane +3. See the numbers go up by ~15%.

Now if you're whining so much, give me the cane. :) I could use a +3 Oak Cane. I'll even find you someone to repair it.

It's definitely not 25%. Personal observation puts it at 5% per star. I haven't looked at changes to attributes, but things like defense and evasion definitely increase on the attributes screen when I equip +# armor.

For the record. I have a +3 copper wristlet I made, and at r13 goldsmith I am unable to attempt the repair.
