There are wrong opinions.

In a scene where Tidus is trying to force himself to laugh, his laughter sounds forced? Seems like good acting to me.

Uncomfortably bad voice acting would be some thing like:

You guys want bad voice acting, try FFXIII. Pick a character.

Buying or selling is both bad uninformed advice, sorry to say. :P In 2008 the house market was pretty crashed and some people thought it would be a great time to buy. I mean the prices were down right? Same with stocks for anything. Yeah they're down, but there's a lot lower they could go. SE could go bankrupt. But SE could also pick up (though why, I don't know) so don't listen to anyone on either side that claims they know for sure. ;)

Wait, wait, wait wait.

I'm an insecure d-bag and a troll when I was about to agree with your ******** review of FF10? We should be able to have our differences without calling each other names. You can look deep into any piece of trash and put together a couple of paragraphs on the lofty theme of said product. That does not make your opinion right. Not every opinion is infallible because it is and opinion. Opinions can be wrong.

P.S. - The correct word would be "adjectives," not "synonyms."

No I could have used synonym or adjective or are you telling me stunning is not a synonym of terrific?

Well we disagree on whether opinions may be wrong but you seem to be going far out of your way to prove that I am a complete *** hat when I simply stated that, aside from Blitzball, FFX was terrible. I thought my opinion was infallible?

I never bought the PoS for OTHER reasons. Was it really that bad? Or was it FFXII syndrome where the faux *********************************************************************************** got tiring real fast?

I post pretty much exclusively in the cross-site forums now, but I'm still fairly active. IRL, things have been going well. How have you been Kachi?

Ah, I've been staying around here lately. Maybe some time I'll step back in on the cross-site forums. I'm doing well. Disappointed about XIV, naturally, but it's a win-win if I get to talk about game design flaws and solutions.

I really can't complain about the voice acting-- struck me as some of the best. Now the dialogue itself was cheesy in some places, but you can't blame the VA for making cheesy dialogue sound a bit cheesy.

But I didn't think the game was that bad overall anyway. The combat was actually pretty decent if you played in manual, though its status as an RPG was kind of questionable. More like a strategy adventure game. I didn't horribly mind the linear nature of it either, since when the game isn't linear that usually means I end up looking at tons of guides to be sure I don't miss anything. There was basically nothing in the game you could miss.

Never confuse your inference as the listener for an implication of the speaker.

Good games are subjective like good food is subjective. You're not going to seriously tell me that there's not a psychological basis for why pizza is great and lutefisk is revolting. The thing about subjectivity is that, as subjects go, humans actually have a great deal in common.

Actually, for first time homeowners, it was a good idea and still is because interest rates were down and are now as low as they can possibly go. Of course, as always, location is a big factor.

You have a point when it comes to investment properties. They're not going to be building equity on their own for the time being... but then there are a lot of displaced former homeowners out there looking to rent! Smiley: thumbsup

*sidenote: for any displaced former homeowners out there, I hope you all get back on your feet a quickly as possible.

SE was circling the drain long before FFXIV came along.

FXIV is SE's 6th bomb just this year (Kingdom Hearts, Supreme Commander 2, Kane and Lynch 2, Just Cause 2, FFXIII).

Too funny...FFXIII sold well over 5 million copies...I wouldn't exactly call that a bomb.
Sales hardly matter in the case of FFXIII. The game bombed in the eyes of players because it just wasn't that good. They've been going backwards with the FF franchise ever since FF9, in some viewpoints FFX. FFX-2 wasn't really welcomed with open arms, FFXI certainly didn't win over 5 million+ FF fans, FFXII was okay but eh yeah, FFXIII was a disaster to RPG games in general which abandoned key aspects of the genre in flavor of flash, and now FFXIV is less than stellar. There's no defending these guys I'm sorry lol. They are plain failing for the past decade and if they keep it up we won't even have to worry about paying for their MMOs in the future.

I liked ffx voice acting. Also 10-2's. 12's was ok. 13's was pretty good, just hated hope and his emo ways. Minus the "dante hits puberty devil may cry moment" two words has by far the WORST vo. bad lines, horrific voice acting. The game was highy rated and is god awful. And they are making a two words 2. (god help us all). I also like a good % of the ff games mius 12 and 13. 11 is a good game with 4 epic story lines. And 11 is still thriving. They are about to finish wing expack in december, hope for another expack in the near future. Also stocks go up and down.

Don't use Etrade... They'll hold any money you give them until you can jump through a series of ridiculous hoops to "verify your identity" something to to with the Patriot Act or some nonsense. Once you've done that, they have so many restrictions and limits on what you can buy/sell that it's completely pointless.

No way I'd use any of those "online brokers". I want a physical person to choke if they ***** my money.
