Crafting/Gathering Linkshells!Follow

I had an idea for a group event. Something that encompass many crafting linkshells. A craftingathon!

So here's how it works, we get a bunch of people to commit to the event. Everyone comes forward with a piece of gear that they would really like to get. It can be as simple or as complicated as they would like. One piece per person! As they sign up for the event they give their DoH/DoL ranks. From there we can work out a crafting scheme involving everyone to make all the gear.

When the event starts, we start with nothing but a list of raw materials. People hop onto DoL or DoM/DoW jobs and start collecting materials (this may or may not include shards/crystals). Once we have the full list of raw materials (we'll pool money to purchase anything we cannot farm as a group), they're given to those who do the starting synths. Once those parts are done they're distributed to those doing the second synths, then so on and so forth. Once final products are completely finished they're given to those who requested them. Everyone walks away with a shiny piece of gear they didn't have to pay for and not having spent money on materials for the items they helped craft.

Anyone in? If there's enough interest, we'll set up a time for it!

The groups which have attempted this already arent doing so well on this server, at least the ones i know of
they are kinda led by pricks atm.

the concept you have here though i must say seems to be alot more trouble then its worth, though it would be interesting to see a shell that can actualy pull off the whole gather/craft thing without drama and actualy being able to properly supply the crafters
