Bazaar: How to sell single items from a stackFollow

I can't figure out what i need to do that i can put a stack on my bazaar (me or retainer) so that a buyer can choose how many items to buy.

I tried to sell a stack of 4, with a price of 10/item. Here my attempts:

1. Sale unit dropdown - put stack size 4, then choose 10 Gil / item, then choose setprize dropdown without changing anything to be able to accept.
Result: Buyer needs to buy whole stack of 4.

2. Not touching the sale unit dropdown, choose first 10 Gil / item, then Sale unit dropdown 4, then choose setprize dropdown without changing anything to be able to accept.
Result: Buyer needs to buy whole stack of 4.

3. Go first on set price dropdown - put in set prize 4, then choose 10 Gil / item, accept without touching sales unit.
Result: Buyer needs to buy whole stack of 4.

4. Go first on set price dropdown - choose 10 Gil / item, then put in set prize 4, accept without touching sales unit.
Result: Buyer needs to buy whole stack of 4.

5. Sale unit dropdown - put stack size 4, choose setprize dropdown without changing anything, then choose 10 Gil / item, accept.
Result: Buyer needs to buy whole stack of 4.

Can't figure out an other way to do it.

As my main char is a crafter, this problem will make me abandon the game, as i am unable to sell without putting single items on the bazaar - and then i have max 20 bazaar slots with my retainer.

Forgot last option:

6. Go first on set price dropdown - choose 10 Gil / item, then choose Sale unit dropdown, set units to 4.

Result: FINALLY the buyer manages to buy 1 item of the whole stack.

Thanks,SE, that took nearly 2 hours of loging to and fro between my 2 chars....

In that Sale Unit dropdown...Set Price means you're only selling all 4 at one set price...Unit Price will allow them to choose how many they buy

Yup, do it by Unit Price, not sale unit. Then you can buy individual items off the stack, not the whole stack at once.

I dont even think there should be an option to sell as a stack. I think it just confuses things. WHen you go to buy the item/ stack of items its not difficult to just click the arrow to buy them all anyway.

All items should be automatically set as indivudal with no option to sell a stack of them.

As a seller I wouldnt want to sell as a stack because then you miss sales because maybe some one only needs a couple.

As a buyer, i dont want to sit there and do the math to see how much you actually are selling each piece for. And just looking at the UI I dont beleive it's very clear whether or not that they are selling as a stack or indvidual. You dont know until you go and click the item and bring up the next screen.

Selling as a stack is always more efficient as a seller. Especially for certain items. I'm not sure where the missing sales is coming from.... you sell the whole stack and everything is sold. If anything its the other way around!
