No enemy compounds to sneak into, no quests at all but too weak leves, and really nothing fun to do. **** in WoW and FFXI you get to fight enemies right off the bat. I am feeling sorry for all the innocent wildlife that is being killed.
I couldn't agree more. In XI there was instantly a threat
, a reason to go out and "train" and try to get more experience so you could help defend your city. Ghelsba was a ten minute walk from San d'Oria! Sometimes there would be a goblin right at the front door!
I'm only GLA 16 but I've been playing XIV since launch, and I've only seen one beastman on the far east side of Thanalan. What exactly are we killing all these marmots and beetles for? Just to get better at killing more marmots and beetles? I know at later levels there is supposedly more involvement with the beastmen, but what about the six months it's going to take me, a fairly casual player, to get to that level? I'm just supposed to stay happy & entertained killing my 10,000th marmot?
