Now imagine this... so many of the little annoyances we have are do to SE fighting RMT's.
Here is what I've concluded: Bots are setup up out of obvious view, fight mobs all day and collect shards.
The RMT's take the shards and sell them in the wards dirt cheap, hence, a big source of income for them.
With this theory in my head, I saw a bot in a cave the other day and decided to do my duty and report the bot.
I opened up a ticket and filled it out, and even titled it "Bot in Cave".
I gave the necessary information, including name, server, etc.
30 minutes later, I get an auto-reply from the GM's saying that bots/RMT's are not handled in-game.
It provided me with a long link to some website that I would have had to write down, go to the site, navigate through the site and then report the bot.
My jaw hit the ground!!! I'm not one for complaining about this game, but...
Looking at it from another perspective, SE is probably handling an insane amount of reporting due to bugs, issues, and a slew of other things, so they had to have a way to outsource some of the problems to make things manageable.
Still... let's just say I was rather surprised.
