Where will you set your three favourite teleport spots?

For myself, I'm thinking either camp glory or camp dragonhead in Coerthas, definitely camp bloodshore as it seems to be a major zone for parties and the like (and I love Cassie Hollow).... I am having trouble picking a final tele spot because horizon is easy to get to... maybe camp drybone because it is more annoying to get to than horizon and I could run to tranquil easily from there. I would choose emerald moss but Coerthas to emerald moss is close if I choose camp glory (which I probably will).

What teleports will you choose, and why?

Camp Dragonhead / Everlakes (Raptors)
Camp Emerald Moss (Efts / Treespeak leves)
Camp Bloodshore (Cassiopoeia / Cedarwood)

Well, since I just started a week ago, I'll probably just stick with the level 10 areas for now. I'm going to assume (stoopid me!) that SE will let us change em as we see fit, if not I'll probably hold off til I'm higher rank.

Oh you are making me lean towards dragonhead knowing that it is a raptor camp. I haven't gotten to raptors yet - but I have heard there is a good griffin camp round there too, but haven't been.

If you're really rank 23 like your signature indicates, I would do:

Camp Horizon for the copperbell mines, easy access to the formicary.
Camp Emerald Moss for the Mun-tuy cellars, and entrance to coetheras as well.
and Camp Bloodshore for cassiopoeia hollow and cedarwood.

You won't be going to raptors for a good 15 ranks.

Camp Bearded Rock (Convenience to Limsa)
Camp Black Brush (Convenience to Uldah)
Camp Nine Ivies (Levequests)

No need for me to set them any further, since I'll just be crafting and fishing till December.

Being that I have been sticking around Gridania, mine as of now would be:

Camp Bentbranch
Camp Emerald Moss
Camp Tranquil

These will probably change as I level up more and explore further.

Horizon is a five minute run from Ul'dah which as a city plaza will have a 1/2 price telepoint already so it would be a waste.

I want a cheap telepoint in Coerthas because I love the zone, and 15 ranks sounds like a lot now but who knows if SE is going to let us change our favourites - at least right away? I would much rather hedge my bets and have a higher ranked camp as a cheap telepoint to start with - that said I already do a lot of parties near Camp Glory so ... yeah.

However if it is immediately obvious that we will be able to change our favourites my decision will be different but if that isn't in game... yeah no chance will I set it just based on what is best right now - I'll be thinking a lot more long term.

You already will have convenience to limsa and uldah because all city plaza telepoints are already going to be half price.

You don't need to set Black Brush or Bearded Rock because the 3 cities are automatically set as favored spots with the reduced cost. You get 3 more on top of those.

Personally, I'll definitely choose Bloodshore for one, and either Horizon or Drybone for another (one is easily accessible from the other). I haven't decided on my third yet, but as I have little playtime and nothing at 20 yet, I'm not too worried about the higher level spots for now.

Camp Dragonhead
Camp Nine Ivies
Camp Crimson Bark

Nine Ivies and Crimson Bark are the two camps I hated the most. Long walk, dead end, aggressive mobs, absolute nothing to do except reporting leves.

Bloodshore is hot but it just 5 mins away fm LL and there are some nice harvest point on the way.

I always find my way back to Gridania. I need to learn more about where all the R21-R30 hot spots are for parties.

I misread the patch notes. I didn't realize the 3 cities were separate of the 3 you get to pick. I was going to pick the 3 cities originally however since I have seen the error of my ways I will be defintely be putting Bloodshore for one. I have not decided on the other 2. There are some good spots in other posts.

Decisions, decisions....

Hmmm.. let's see:

Camp Tranquil/Black Shroud - A lot of mobs around there that I need mats from.
Camp Bloodshore/Eastern La Noscea - Good mobs for my current rank + pty loc's.
Camp Horizon/Western Thanalan - More mobs for mats.

Yep, yep, for now that will do me just fine :)

I was thinking just putting it near all of the starting city. It's pretty convenience to get around town.

All towns are automatically favorited at 3 Anima / teleport

I think you've got the right idea-- I was planning the same sites. In essence, key areas that are far enough from the main cities so as to not be redundant but are also essential for questing.

Horizon
Bloodshore
Tranquil

The real question is how often can you change your Favored Aetherytes?

Unlimited? Surely not.

Once a week? Once each Leve timer reset?

The picture indicates the favored Aetherytes are set by an NPC that I'm not familiar with. Maybe there will be a Favored Aetheryte NPC in each city.

Currently:

Camp Emerald Moss
It's amazingly close to the Coerthas zone line, and I would only be hunting squirrels there ATM.

Later on, if I could be bothered to level my weaver more, I might add Camp Bluefog and Camp Broken Water to the list, because those runs are nasty.

Defiantly, for me, Camp Blue Fog would be my first. That is easly the worst camp for me to get to. Nine Ives is easy, only had aggro once from a bird, and didn't even die from it. Blue Fog though... I've died several times when I just first activated it.

The other two...idk, probably one in coerthas and maybe bloodshore for the third. My third will probably change around as needed.

there was only 1 bird that was hard to avoid aggro for me on the way to blue fog. I used a sleeping pot on it. I got by no problem.

Stupid question incoming: How do you actually set a Aetheryte as favourite destination? :( I guess I'm playing with both eyes shut down because I can't find an option to do so...

I had to ask on this one too. Speak to the NPC behind the counter at any camp.

Oh my, the solution was so simple. There's always something new to learn in this game - thank you so much for the quick answer. :)

Just go to any non-favorite campsite, when you talk to the guard, it will ask which favorite spot to unregister to register the current campsite.
