Hello, I have a quick question. If i get marks from a battleleve in one town, is it possible there will be some in t he next? Or if i dont get any guild marks in one town, is it possible they will be in another? Just wondering :)
Thanks!

Yes, all battlecraft and fieldcraft leves have a different set per town and as a result marks can be found on any of them. The more jobs you have suitable for the leve the more chances for marks for 20+ leves.

Yes you can get marks in each town. Which is why its a good idea to pick and choose which leves you pick up, if all you do them for is rewards. Sometimes you may get 3 leves that give a certain class mark then another time you will get 0.

Yes. It's fairly random, but there is a chance.

The Marks reward for Rank 20 Battleleves is randomly selected from among the Classes that you have at or above Rank 10.

It looks like you will get Lancer and Pug marks some of the time.

One poster indicated that closing out of the Leve Counter NPC and re-opening could actually change the Mark reward from one Class to another, although I have not seen this myself.

Also, obtaining Rank 23 will unlock Rank 30 Leves, which reportedly have much higher Mark rewards.

(I went ahead and leveled everything to Rank 10, despite being warned not to. Now I get Mark rewards for sometimes 2/3 of the Rank 20 leves. Very rarely are they for Conjurer, like I want. You may want to leave your trailing Classes at Rank 9 until you have a Rank 23 Class.)

Ive noticed certain leves give certain marks. For instance i almost always get Archer marks for "Save the lettuce save the world" and Pugilist marks for "A Roseling by Any Other Name". I also have all classes above 10 and i never get Thaumaturge marks although i very rarely levequest in Gridania which if my suspiction is correct would mean its a Gridania leve that gives the most Thaumaturge marks.

All this could well be coincidence but it happens to me ALOT.

Do you think you have a higher chance of getting your guild marks in the town that host your class guild? I'm in Ul'dah and PGL and Gld smith, miner, Leather , and Black smith, are all above 15. Pgl being 32. Gld smith 21. All i have gotten are PGl GM and nothing from another class, even though GLD smith guild is in Ul'dah. So i it would seem to be random as **** if you get them.

I've tried that too and it has never changed. Ever.
