After viewing the details of this version update I dont see anything posted about fixing the Conjurer Ability "Elemental Shroud". The ability is purchased via guild marks and is basically a AOE version of Spirit Dart, but the AOE is currently broken, I didnt appreciate discovering I wasted 5000 marks for a useless ability, does anyone know if this issue was or is going to be addressed?

I think the description of Elemental Shroud in english version is wrong, 'cause in Japanese version, the description shows it is the same as Thm's lv20 skill, which is a single attack that lowers enimty.

You didn't waste your Guildmarks, you just got something you didn't expect.

Here's what I posted under the description for this ability a couple weeks ago:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, it looks like the in-game description for this ability provided by SE is incorrect.

Elemental Shroud In-Game Description wrote:
Launch an elemental attack, dealing damage to the target and nearby enemies. Damage type varies with equipped arm.

1. This ability is not AOE.

2. Both Elemental Shroud (Rank 20) and Nature's Fury (Rand 40) have identical in-game descriptions. It does not make sense (even for SE) to expect you to spend 6k guildmarks on this ability, only to spend another 10k guildmarks to upgrade/replace the ability 20 ranks later.

3. Conjurer and Thaumaturge share a similar spell progression. Conjurer gets Spirit Dart at level 1, Thaumaturge gets Phantom Dart. Conjurer gets Cure at Rank 4, Thaumaturge gets Sacrifice. Conjurer gets Tranquility after finishing the starter quest, Thaumaturge gets Exaltation, etc.

However, Thaumaturge has a Rank 20 ability called Silhouette that can be purchased for 6k guildmarks:

Silhouette In-Game Description wrote:
Launch a shadowy attack, dealing damage to the target and decreasing enmity. Damage type varies with equipped arm.

And a Rank 40 ability called Shadowfall that can be purchased for 10k guildmarks:

Shadowfall In-Game Description wrote:
Launch a shadowy attack, dealing damage to the target and nearby enemies. Damage type varies with equipped arm.

Based on the guildmark costs and ranks of these abilities, I would guess that here again Conjurers and Thaumaturges share a similar spell progression, which means the in-game description for Elemental Shroud should read:

Corrected Elemental Shroud In-Game Description wrote:
Launch a shadowy attack, dealing damage to the target and decreasing enmity. Damage type varies with equipped arm.

In other words:

Conjurer
Rank 20: Elemental Shroud
"Launch a shadowy attack, dealing damage to the target and decreasing enmity. Damage type varies with equipped arm."
Rank 40: Nature's Fury
"Launch a shadowy attack, dealing damage to the target and nearby enemies. Damage type varies with equipped arm."

Thaumaturge
Rank 20: Silhouette
"Launch a shadowy attack, dealing damage to the target and decreasing enmity. Damage type varies with equipped arm."
Rank 40: Shadowfall
"Launch a shadowy attack, dealing damage to the target and nearby enemies. Damage type varies with equipped arm."

TL;DR - SE seems to have accidentally copied the in-game description for Nature's Fury onto the ability Elemental Shroud.

The correct description should be similar to the Thaumaturge Ability Silhouette: "Launch a shadowy attack, dealing damage to the target and decreasing enmity. Damage type varies with equipped arm."
